I have a number of WORX products--dating back about eight years. I recently had an issue with my 2023 battery whipper snipper losing a release button. In ordering some new spools, I happened to mention to their rep Nicola (on their ordering line) about having to manually release the cutting string. A nuisance requiring switching off the machine to manually take off the cutting cover. Nicola asked the usual questions about the model, serial number etc, then asked if I had (by chance) taken out their extended warranty offer at time of purchase. I had (thankfully), although I don't normally do this--but the offer to do so was very appealing. With that, she said she would include a whole new cutting head at no charge (great).
Promptly arrived, I took a long hard look at what appeared to be a fairly complex job to replace (not knowing if there were any springs or anything; so I took it to our local mower shop. They wanted $60 to remove and replace, and having had a not so good experience with this mower shop before, I was reluctant to give them more of my hard-earned. I called Nicola, and she informed that, in having taken out their extended warranty and appreciating my concerns on using said repairer, she advised that she would send me out, a replacement whipper snipper. How good is that! The whole package arrived within a very few short days (brilliant!) This is why my garage is full of WORX gear. With great service like this I'm a real WORX fan.
A big shout out to Nicola who was just delightful in our conversations. Always respectful, she is an asset to the company she works for.

I like that the batteries are interchangeable and that the product does what it says it would do.

Very unpleasant experience with a return.

I ordered the wrong product ($300) from the WORX store on Amazon. I opened a return process. So far, so good.

Meanwhile, I went to the WORX website and ordered the correct one along with other products (total of my orders around $1k).

Not only the messages from the person responsible for the Amazon returns at WORX were not rapport-building at all, they also expected me to wait 10 business days after the product was received by them to process my refund, according to their message, "if the product was indeed unopened", and only after making me send a foto of the box (that's against Amazon policies, by the way).

I had to open an Amazon claim, which resulted on Amazon enforcing the refund.

Very unfriendly customer service and made me rethink buying again any WORX product because if that person is the same that handles customer support for website orders, I want to steer clear of dealing with such a poor customer experience ever again.

The whole process was very easy and we received the goods in very good time.
