Great customer service

Unfortunately my automatic icord knitter was faulty so emailed customer support and Regina was absolutely fantastic about arranging a replacement - received it in less than 2 weeks.
However, the replacement unit was then also faulty. I wasn’t able to receive a replacement for that one as silly me threw the first one out so wasn’t able to verify the fault. Luckily Regina was super patient and we came to a compromise and received a discount on a new unit instead. Super helpful and great customer service, just wish the machines hadn’t been faulty!

HORRIBLE OWNER ADA AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I own 2 of these yarn winders - A purple pro model and a blue pro model and they have given me nothing but headaches. At first use things seemed great but after winding yarn I would notice horrible loud clicks coming from the winders. Nothing was jammed, no knots in the yarn, spinning freely with a very loud click. I immediately contacted the Caydo company (Spoke to the owner Ada) and she was so rude I will never buy another product from their company again. She would not replace either unit despite the fact that I sent a video of each one showing that they are not in working condition and clearly defective. It will only allow me to upload one video for this review. As you can see in the video the blue one is making a horrible clicking noise and wont work even though it has no yarn on it. I went back and forth about 6 times online talking to the owner Ada and she did not care and would not budge on exchanging them for non defective winders. She came up with every excuse she could think of not to stand behind her products and even stated she doesn't care if I leave an honest review sharing my experience with others so that is exactly what I am doing. I am sharing with you and all of my groups in hopes that you will be smart and purchase from another company. Choose a company that actually stands behind their products and appreciates their customers. This company could clearly care less about doing what is right. Once you have an issue you are left in the dark and out the money that you spent which is not at all acceptable.

Don't waste your time....they lie about…

Don't waste your time....they lie about shipping, I am still waiting. They will give you the excuse that they are really busy and sorry for the delay. It doesn't matter the time of the year, they say this. My mistake for not reading the reviews first. I ordered an item as I needed it for a project deadline. I was to receive it 5 days before the deadline, plenty of time. Now it's ETA is 3 days after the deadline.

Scam or not? We'll see!

Ordered a few items that were clearly posted on the store's website in stock. After a few days, a notification arrives ...

Now all my plans are disrupted because I trusted their website to have the goods in stock. I sincerely hope that everything will be fine but I could also go into the first casino, put my money in and spin the roulette. A very frivolous approach to business. Scam or not? We'll see!

It's a scam!

I have ordered the I-cord pro knitting machine yesterday. I didn't receive any confirmation about purchase or tracking number from Caydo.
Luckily I paid for the item via PayPal. Today I got my money back even I didn't open a case myself.
Maybe Caydo works in US but definitely not in the UK.

Items ordered 3 weeks ago not arrived

I ordered £45 worth of craft storage folders 3 weeks ago. I’ve still not received an email for shipping nor the products I paid for. I’m very disappointed with this brand and not sure I will be using them again. The “track your order” link has expired so I can’t even see where the order is. I’ve emailed them and waiting on a reply!

Accepted my order, took my money.
No confirmation email, tried email, tried messaging on instagram. Nothing.
Fifty five quid out of pocket at moment.
Come on Caydo , answer your emails.

It's handy

It works great most of the time but sometimes the balls still get tangled up when I'm crocheting.
I don't know if it's because I'm doing something wrong or what. It sure beats the hand cranked ones.

I like the weights

I like the weights, they are like huge cordlocks and just slide up the icord. I like this better than the clip weights which seemed to pull on one side more.The machine is reasonably quiet. I assumed the motor would be faster. I can crank my hand model one much faster.I’m sure the consistent pace is better for even stitches and less chance of dropped stitches.It is kinda expensive for one purpose or function and have seen it go for less then I paid for it, so watch the offers and you might be able to get it for close to $40 - $45.

Cannot handle full 10 Oz of yarn

Cannot handle full 10 Oz of yarn, but could handle a good 8 to 9 Oz. Took a star down for that, otherwise it was amazing!! Loved this better than other winders I have tried. Worth the money...so far! I did 4, 8 to 10 Oz of yarn back to back and it handled them very well!!

Never shipped my item, and customer service would not answer my emails. Had to do a charge back with my bank.
