Good survey experience, but long payment schedule and low communication
The actual survey experience was good, but the payment took over 6 weeks, with poor communication when I asked for status updates. The communication function in the CleverX website itself is broken.

"Your country is blocked..." error message
I hope someone from CleverX responds. The support team is not responding to my emails. I have been getting invites to participate in research every day this week. When I try to access my profile, I get this message:
"The Amazon CloudFront distribution is configured to block access from your country. We can't connect to the server for this app or website at this time. There might be too much traffic or a configuration error. Try again later, or contact the app or website owner.
If you provide content to customers through CloudFront, you can find steps to troubleshoot and help prevent this error by reviewing the CloudFront documentation."
Please confirm that my country South Africa has been blocked by CleverX and reasons why if possible, so that I can deregister. There is no point in CleverX inviting me to participate in research if they have blocked my country.

Go elsewhere for quality research…
The platform and surveys are quality and easy to navigate. But, and this is a big ‘But’, the CleverX model is designed to support/serve/advocate for the researchers who pay CleverX, not the participants who respond to the surveys. Participants are told that researchers may decline completed participant surveys without cause, leaving participants waiting weeks, sometimes months, for word from CleverX on the Researcher’s decision to accept and pay for the time & effort you put into responding to the researcher’s survey. I’ve worked as both a Researcher for large, global corporations as well as a participant, the CleverX model is poorly designed without regard for participants which impacts quality of response for researchers.
UPDATE: It’s been 6 months, and CleverX never paid me for completed surveys. Their response to feedback like below is canned.

Stay away they are scam
Stay away they are big time scam, I keep waiting for my hard earned money, they sent the money to my account but they blocked the account so I am unable to withdraw the money since July and the customer support is trash because they are not even responding to my mail… I keep seeing notifications that I was paid but I can’t access my account, how those that make sense

I’ve been collaborating with CleverX for three years, but lately their service has completely fallen apart. For over three months now, I haven’t received any payment for completed surveys. Despite my consistent attempts to reach out through all available channels, they’ve entirely ignored me. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and raises serious doubts about their professionalism and reliability. I’m very disappointed and can no longer trust them as a partner.

While I'm thankful for the opportunity, Cleverx has no easy way to contact their customer support team with status updates. The only way is to reach out via the messages in the console and even that was a stretch. Please make it easier for reaching out to support.

In my role, I handle IT-related tasks for my company. I believe it's essential for professionals to share their insights and feedback on their work with the world. The most effective way I’ve found to do this is through surveys, and I consider it crucial to contribute everything I know into them. It’s imperative for me, especially when working on development and modeling, to continuously experiment and report my findings. I know my expertise can benefit many people, and the CleverX studies reflect that.
Regarding their infrastructure, I think it could use more design and perhaps an increase in the number of surveys offered. Sometimes, I’ve wished for more opportunities to participate, but overall, collaborating on their surveys has been a positive experience. It is worth noting that the platform is stable, it has almost never fallen when I use it.

An excellent tool for conducting professional surveys. Its user-friendly interface makes it easy to distribute surveys. Navigation is smooth, and the drag-and-drop feature of the surveys is particularly easy to use.
