Michael Dyers gave excellent service. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful on the phone and replied to my emails almost immediately. Michael sent about 4 quotes if not more for me and phoned to explain cover where necessary as I was deciding which cover best suited my needs.

I am very unhappy with the service…
I am very unhappy with the service provided by episodic. I took out the plan on the 2st of November 2024.
We visited the Dr in January this year.
The bills were not paid. I received statements from the approved network Dr as well as lancet for the bloods.I also had to pay for the scripted meds. I was on the momentum plan and did not experience such issues only moved because the hospital plan was more affordable for 4 people.
I have called 3 times and spoke to customer care whereby I was told that the issue would be resolved. It seems that my complaints are not being taken seriously.
Now I am sitting with R1500 Drs bills and R2500 lancet bill.
It is so frustrating.

Unfortunately Episodic and African…
Unfortunately Episodic and African Unity Life cancelled the funeral policy I had for my elderly mother and did not even notify me. They said they sent a text message however nothing was received. I randomly decided to contact them in December with a few policy questions and found out like that, that it had been cancelled in November 2024. There is no option to continue any other policy with Episodic as my mother is over 60 and the funds paid into the African Unity Life Policy have been swallowed up somewhere. I have tried to contact them both since December 2024 in order to obtain a certificate of proof for a new insurance policy elsewhere, and they will not respond. If they can do this with a funeral policy I'm pretty sure that they will do this wherever and whenever it suites them again, God forbid.
