Item arrived after a few weeks, but didn’t work. I contacted them straight away and got a quick reply. They asked for proof it didn’t work, so I sent photos and videos. Did not get a reply, have been trying to get a refund for weeks now. I wonder if the products come directly from China because it took a while to arrive, and the instructions were all in Chinese. If I wanted to buy junk I would have ordered direct from a Chinese app.

Be very careful. Online adverts strongly lead to the idea of a UK supplier. The money went to Argentina and the goods come directly from China. The goods didn't work but Gear Tech support will spend hours avoiding sending a return/refund option and even if you got one they will have to pay more than the goods are worth to actually return them to China. I have no idea whether sending them to China at your own expense would ever generate a refund but I suspect it wouldn't. This is not a scam, the goods exist, but the goods are cheap Chinese rubbish and you really should avoid the annoyance that I, and most of the reviewers, have had to go through. I have the wonderful Amex supporting me and the payment will be recovered but not everyone will be so lucky.

Avoid this company like the plague. They are advertising goods that are then sourced from Ali express at a fraction of the cost. Half my order was missing when it finally arrived after 3 weeks. There must be some law about mis-advertising and mis-leading to stop this company from trading.
Absolutely shocked they can get away with this, had to give 1 star but would definitely be on the minus scale if it was possible

This is not a UK based company and the item I received was cheaply made and poor quality. The website sites that you can return the item with ease, this is not true. I have had to open a dispute with PayPal to gain a return address to get a refund. The company eventually provided a USA address and I have to pay the return fees. Not only that, because it is an international delivery I need a telephone number to set up the courier service but Gear-Tech is now not giving me this. So I will have to go though PayPal again.
I wish I'd read these reviews before purchasing. Do not buy from this company!

Wish I'd read these reviews before ordering – absolute nightmare company.

Placed an order on 21st November. The parcel was scanned once by Evri on 22nd November and has had zero updates since. It's now 3rd December – almost two weeks later – and still nothing.

When I contacted Gear Tech they told me this is "normal procedure". It absolutely is not. The parcel has clearly been lost or stolen in transit.

Now they're refusing to issue a refund and are making me go through my credit card company to get my money back via a Section 75 claim.

Appalling customer service from start to finish. Avoid Gear Tech like the plague – save yourself the stress and shop elsewhere.

Bought hearing aids, had them one day, whistling, and wouldn’t fit my small ears advised a return, whereby they put every obstacle in my way.
Said $50 postage!!!!
These never used, and they said oh after inspection you may not get your money back, misleading advertising as these are made in China, no reference to this on their listing. Now I’m stuck with items that are of no use,and their emails just obfuscate matters. Utterly dreadful

I purchased a 8tb memory stick. It took 3 weeks to arrive and then when I tried to use it the files corrupted.

They told me the device was only Windows 10 compatible so would offer no refund for Wibdows 11. Windows 10 is now obsolete so they are selling an unusable product and hiding behind ridiculous small print

Brought an item online which was x2 rechargeable wall lights. They arrived and were not rechargeable at all and when I queried it and asked for a refund, they said the item matches the website and they will not refund even though I sent pictures and videos of it clearly showing they are not rechargeable! Do not use them!!!

Scammers. Tracker bigger than described and without batteries despite description saying 6 batteries included. Contacted them to organise return and they have refused - despite their own returns policy steering returns accepted. They seem to think they can make up their own laws.

I would give this company -1 star if i could. Purchased a door mat which later found out was significantly overpriced compared to similar products.
This would have been fine if it was advertised as described bit it wasnt.I attempted to get a refund as the quality was very poor and looked nothing like it did on the photos. The pattern on the mat had simply been printed on where the photos showed it as a texture and it was very thin - not fit for purpose.
I later purchased what looked to be the same product through a competitor as i was denied a refund through Gear Tech. The difference is laughable.
Its quite impressive that this company has gone out of its way to manufacture a counterfeit door mat, nonetheless they will stand by the product when a complaint is lodged. We sent them photos vs what was advertised online with no success. We received be long apologetic email in response but basically skirted around the final decision against issuing a refund.
They also will not honour their return policy of 30 day returns regardless of the issues.
The whole setup appears to be a scam so please avoid at all costs.

If I could leave zero stars I would have. Gear Tech 'UK' is misleading as goods come from China. Ordered heated motorcycle gloves but received non heated cycling gloves. I was sent a replacement that never arrived, but when I complained again and said I wanted my money back they claimed they had already despatched another replacement pair. When these eventually arrived and were just heated gloves with no knuckle protection (which there should be for motorcycle use) they just ignored my emails asking for a refund.

Pure scam ordered an RG108 drone got a l900 drone you can buy for half the price on aliexpress, even worse, geartech dont even sell the l900 drone on their uk website, then looking £60 to return the drone when i could ship it back for £26, paypal are in on it they were no help, stay away from both, yanks working together to scam everyone.

Bought a wireless reversing camera states it’s waterproof and strong magnet both are a load of rubbish it’s cheap and in no way waterproof and the so called strong magnets come apart with a slight shake scam of a company and trading standards needs to get a grip on these Chinese companies king out they are English companies

Not only waited ages for the products to arrive but also neither of them work.
Customer service is useless and refuses refund.

Avoid !!!! Gear Tech sounds to be a Chinese supply chain( Cainiao) with delivery up to 45 days!
When I raised my concerns that did not receive my order ( 2 weeks after placing my order) I was told to call the number in China to check with the courier... Ridiculous.
Avoid to the fullest.

Complete scam. Sold me two trackers. They didn’t work, they kept asking me to send videos using different phones and apps then at the end it still didn’t work, I asked for a refund and they said it is beyond there 14 day policy. Wasted my time and money for bogus tech. Avoid at all costs

I am yet another who didn't read the negative reviews before ordering and now regret it. Ordered a GPS Bike Tracker, which took about 3 weeks to arrive - from China - with instructions in Chinese. When I went to download the software from the Play Store the reviews were atrocious. I contacted Gear Tech but they wouldn't accept a return without me paying 30-50 dollars postage. Despite the product not being fit for purpose etc, they wouldn't budge so I am left out of pocket. Avoid!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Website says hassle free returns, however you will nit be able to return anything.
