Delivery charges from Sterling to Highlands very high.
It was £22.50 delivery charge to Badrallach , Dundonnell for one roll of tape so I had it delivered to my daughter in Inverness delivery charge £7.50.

Our carriage for single rolls of tape and membrane are amongst the cheapest online and we charge the same rate for the whole of mainland UK, if you are unsure of carriage rates please check with us before ordering.
We appreciate the update to your review. We strive to charge a fair price but certain postcodes do suffer from surcharges by the courier. As mentioned in the prior reply, it is always worth speaking to us as we are always happy to verify shipping costs and reduce them where necessary. We are continually working on improving our website and pricing so we will make sure we monitor the shipping costs.

Really lovely wool insulation product, perfect for an old building, all rafter widths available and all depth options. Fantastic product, fantastic service, bargain delivery too. Courier delivered really promptly the day before I thought possible. Everything 5 star.

Bad advice and expensive mistake.
I spoke with a Sales Representative at the Insulation Merchant who advised me on sub-floor insulation in my home. I wanted to buy Rockwool but was informed that they were out of stock and had a hemp insulation product called IndiTherm Hemp that was on offer and apparently excellent.
This was terrible advice. I paid nearly £1000 for the materials and after x2 months the hemp insulation has all gone mouldy! I am now removing all of it and using Rockwool.
No compensation provided.
Exceptionally poor customer service, especially when I followed their advice.

Hi Sam,
In this instance, you contacted us having decided on a route of approach and requested a product which was out of stock and in shortage throughout the UK. We provided alternative options based on the information we were given. We were also happy to organise collection of surplus material and provide a refund for this.
It is critical to point out that the volume of moisture required to produce this effect would indicate that there is a fundamental flaw with the fabric of the property - something we could not have known unless advised by you or by visiting the site. Any type of insulation product would either have been adversely affected in some form under these circumstances, or the problem would have manifested elsewhere. Our advice would always be to address the root cause of the problem before any other works can be carried out.
We are very sorry to hear you have experienced such issues however this is certainly something which would need to be rectified before installation of any insulation materials.
This is very disappointing feedback, we pride ourselves on providing the highest level of customer service and disagree that you have been misled in this instance. We reacted to the information given and ultimately the responsibility lies with the installer or end user to determine that the product and application are fit for purpose.

Thank you for your review. We apologise this was delayed in getting to you. We did dispatch this within 24 hours and we do advertise a 1 - 2 working day delivery time although this is an estimated time. We don't actively advertise our deliveries as express services on our website.
I will check with APC to see why there was a delay. We always aim to deliver within a reasonable timeframe and we would hope to do better on your next order.
