What on earth is going on!! company goes bust and we get our money back from the bank in March. Today we had a knock at the door from Express 2 man del to try and deliver our furniture. Rejected the del, recon they wanted to del the furniture to recoup the funds from the bank.

Do not order from this company!

Hi everyone, I had a similar experience to everyone below. I ordered a bed for my son at the start of January and it never materialised despite numerous emails to chase. I’ve ended up getting the money back through our credit card company.
I’ve recently found James Curtis on Facebook and bizarrely he now seems to work for Scandiborn which is a reputable children’s furniture store!

Update: I contacted Scandiborn who said that he no longer worked there but had done in the past. They were very helpful and phoned James Curtis directly who assured them they would resolve the issue within 7 days. I then got an email from a delivery company to schedule a delivery of the bed! I’ve rejected the delivery as have already had a refund and bought an alternative bed but hoping this may encourage Mr Curtis to do the right thing by his customers.

Shocking and exasperating company

Shocking and exasperating company. I had to contact over and over again often with no response for months on end until I finally got the bed I ordered but I have never received the drawers to the tune of around £150. If the others reviews are correct about this company going bust presumably there is no way I will get a refund?

Crooks- not taking this lying down

Took almost £2000 from me and have not delivered a single thing. Ordered 3+ months ago.
Investigating them - sending someone round every week to see if they’ll answer -so far no luck. Next step is calling the authorities - they can’t just take money and not be held accountable. May 2 review- how did you get in touch? I’ve had no email responses or phone calls picked up.
I just want my stuff! I special ordered the beds from a company in CZ who have confirmed they delivered to interie - wtaf are they doing with my goods?!?

Delays, terrible customer service, poor quality, lies. Cot bed and changing table ordered in October 2020 and received mid February 2021 when our baby was already 3 months old... Also one panel was damaged so we were told we would be compensated and receive a new part and after several unanswered emails, we never received anything nor were able to get a refund or compensation. On top of this, quality is pretty poor for the price tag so stay away!!

Do not deliver

The company seems to have gone bust. Luckily we paid with a credit card so we managed to get our money back. They sent no communication and our daughter now has to wait another 4 weeks at least for the furniture in her room.. not impressed. Even if they reopen the store, I would stay well away from Interie.

Do not deliver

Ordered my daughters bed and drawers in dec 2020. The bed arrived just fine, but I have still not received the drawers and the money is deducted from my account already. The company has gone bust. what can you even do in a scenario like this :(. To be honest I dont even see the point of leaving this review if nobody is going to reach us to correct the issues!

Ordered a wardrobe in October last…

Ordered a wardrobe in October last year. We received half our wardrobe and half of someone else’s. When the other half arrived it was so badly damaged we had to return it. Waited months for pick up. Had to threaten them to do it. That was 6 weeks ago and have not received our refund of about £500. As the website has gone down so have our chances of ever seeing that money back. Not alone in being ripped off by this company it would seem!

Ordered furniture for a grand total of £500 in October. Still haven't received the order and it's quite obvious to me that the company has gone bust and done a midnight flit.
To add insult to injury, I paid through klarna who are now telling me that I need to continue to contact the company in order to get my money back...

Ordered a wardrobe for my little girl…

Ordered a wardrobe for my little girl back in Feb received email stating will dispatch in 4/7 weeks. Kept checking never dispatched now website as totally disappeared from market and they have not replied to my emails. Also on checking on my bank statement company is listed as a computer software company! Disgusting clearly dodgey from the start ripping off newborn mums who are waiting for furniture and people in general. Not received a refund or even a sorry hoping I can get my money back

Unfortunately I have the same experience as others here. I have ordered cot and chest of drawers and a some point I have simply noticed that the company has refunded the money paid, without letting me know about cancelling my order. I will have to order again somewhere else, I guess I am lucky to have received a refund but wasted a lot of time waiting:(

I’m writing this as I hope it helps everyone below. I obviously also have been scammed, I checked the bed was in stock which they emailed it was and then I have heard nothing since after sending many emails.
Today the website has been took down! I contacted my bank and raised a dispute ( I paid debit card ) & I suggest everyone does this!

The company owner is called James Edward Curtis and the business is registered to a unit in Newark, Nottinghamshire.

James you are scum.

I ordered a cot for my baby over 8…

I ordered a cot for my baby over 8 weeks ago and despite numerous emails and phone calls requesting an update Interie have completely ignored me despite them being able to respond before purchase when I queried what colour the cot was! I have had to contact my bank for a refund as the company ignored my request for refund also as I can’t afford to waste any more time waiting for the cot as my baby is due any day now. Avoid this company at all costs as once they have your money their customer service is non existent. A real shame as the cot was exactly what I was looking for.

Furniture is defective / dangerous

Furniture is defective. No replies to emails. No phone number or other form of contact on website.

The bed frame is too wide for the mattress frame and as such the mattress will not stay securely in place. Dangerous product.

Product excellent, delivery poor

The actual product is super and well made. The communication around delivery was shockingly poor. This was bought on 1st November and not delivered until mid February.

Stay away from this company

I am unable to get in touch with this company. They are ignoring my emails and the phone goes to answer machine- it should be open, it is Monday ! They say they will aim to respond within 24hours and they do not. My daughter is 4 in 2 weeks, we promised her a bed. She is currently sleeping with us and has been for 2 months as we thought the bed would arrive. I’m so annoyed.
UPDATE - opened a dispute with my bank and they have refunded me the money.
Still unable to speak to anyone.
Please please stay away from this company.

The bed I bought collapsed with my…

The bed I bought collapsed with my daughter in it, the mattress section was not wide enough for the bed - meaning as she sat on a corner. The entire bottom fell through. This was for the charlottes tree house. Be careful.
