They need zero stars
If I could give this clinic zero stars, I would.
I was misled regarding the choice of donor eggs. I selected a specific donor profile, but the clinic changed it without my knowledge or consent and created embryos. The embryos were then transferred into my body. I was required to purchase medications to support embryo development. I gave consent based on false information.
I also paid a premium price for fresh donor eggs, which include additional costs such as donor compensation, anaesthesia, and egg retrieval. I paid approximately €3,000 more for the fresh donor egg package. The doctor told me I did not have time for fresh donor eggs and, against my will, they were replaced with frozen donor eggs, which are significantly cheaper, while the price difference was retained. This means I paid for services that were never provided to me.
An unnecessary surgery was performed for a small fibroid without a prior diagnostic hysteroscopy.
When I received a copy of the surgical report, the doctor had recorded that I reported irregular uterine bleeding. I never reported this and had no bleeding. He misled me about the necessity of the surgery, telling me it was needed because of the location where he wanted to place the embryo.
I now have permanent nerve damage after the surgery. I no longer have sensation in my clitoris. I developed a serious post-operative infection that required prolonged antibiotic treatment. The doctor used water pressure of 150 mmHg, which is higher than normal.
The consent forms were presented to me after anaesthesia, which is unethical.
The embryo transfer was performed aggressively with insufficient preparation.
Important tests were not performed, including thyroid testing. I have hypothyroidism and this should have been taken into account before and after embryo transfer.
No follow-up care was provided, and on the day of transfer I was told to find a new doctor.
This was not communicated to me before the embryos were created. I had no opportunity to make the necessary prior arrangements.
The clinic refused to provide donor traceability documentation and provided an inappropriate medication package. When I raised concerns, my worries were dismissed.
This clinic places profit above patient safety and does not adhere to modern standards. I am sharing this so that future patients can make an informed decision.
What they are doing is NOT fraud, because they do in fact provide donor eggs. The issue is the LOW quality of services and the fact that they bind patients to services through omission of information. Most patients do not realise this.
