Don't do it

I placed an order and did not get a confirmation. I tried to get help from the chat bot and was notified the order did not go through. Interesting, since my Visa was charged immediately. I am in the process of getting it resolved (I hope) but will not order from them again. I had to talk myself into paying their astronomical prices - lesson learned.

Ruti return policy

To note, its not the clothes I have a problem with or even the friendly staff in store, it’s there ridiculous return policy or lack their of for in store purchases. Plain and simple there are no returns only store credit for in store purchases..period. So if you happen to be in a brick and mortar store visiting from out of town and make a purchase, you cannot return of the item. You can get store credit which is a completely different thing. BUT if you buy online you have a two week window to return to original payment. Go figure…silly and extremely frustrating

Can’t get refund on returned items

I ordered a shirt and pair of pants. Returned within window and over 30 days and no refund. Finally got a person to respond vs the AI bot. They are claiming I only returned the shirt. Not true. I returned both items in original packaging. Started a PayPal dispute. Still waiting for my money. This is not a way to build a customer base. A good company has to focus on the back end of their supply chain. You have to process returns and improve customer service. Still waiting. Funds were received early May (I ordered the items in Feb). Please note you will also be charged a restocking fee.

Not worth the money!

I purchased the On the Loose pants about 4 months ago. I have worn and washed these $200+ pants a handful of times, following their instructions. The pants have lost all the elasticity in the front now and can’t be worn. When I reached out to their customer service they said because it is past the 30 day window they can’t do anything. They offered a $50 coupon toward my next purchase of poorly made clothing. Not acceptable.

BUYER BEWARE

I had ordered two items& needed to return one which I thought was poor quality & fit. The skirt was returned within one hour of receipt in same box & packaging. The return was delivered immediately but sat in their warehouse for a month with no response.After my third inquiry about my return they informed me that it was a “bad” return even though the tags were still attached & the return was immediate. This is a VERY BAD company who cheats people.I am letting my credit card company handle the dispute. They are all over social media but BUYER BEWARE! Their clothes are not worth the price or aggravation!

Order the denim jacket (order #302471)…

Order the denim jacket (order #302471) but never received it, even though I got an email saying it was delivered on Feb 24, 2026. Contacted the customer service who informed me to ask my neighbors (which I did!), and never responded again. First was AI, then someone named Kaylah. Worst experience. It’s my first and last experience ordering from Ruti, and I will be sure to share my experience with as many people as possible.

Customer Service Severely Lacking

I contacted Ruti to exchange a pair of pants on 12/9/2025. It was communicated that if I mailed my return package by 12/11/2025, I would not be charged for the exchange. I dropped my package off on 12/10/2025 at FedEx in Portland, Oregon. I received a receipt for my drop-off, a picture of which I provided to Ruti's "customer service" bot.

On 12/11/2025, my credit card was charged for the pants despite the fact that the package was dropped off and scanned at the FedEx location.

On 12/15/2025, my return package arrived to Ruti. A customer service agent refused to actually read my email and told me that a refund would be processed within 2 weeks.

Countless emails have gone unanswered and it is now close to a month later and my refund has not arrived yet. I have now paid twice for a pair of pants that frankly aren't even that cute.

Steer Clear

I ordered a pair of pants at no small cost. I checked the box to have them delivered to a store for pickup. Days later, I still hadn't gotten an email about when I could pick them up, so I called the store. They looked up the order and said to come by; they had them. I went the next day, only to be told that they were being shipped to my home and that they would arrive in four more days. When I asked why they were being sent to my home when I asked them to be sent to the store, she shrugged and said she could see it was supposed to be sent to the store and that someone must have been trying to do me a favor. When I looked exasperated, the clerk said, "Don't worry. It's not a problem." When I said I was inconvenienced in making my way over to the store due to information given by one of their employees, she smiled and said, "It's not a big deal."

The pants were supposed to arrive yesterday. When they didn't, I looked at the shipping info again; they were due to arrive today. They still haven't arrived, and the shipping info now says tomorrow. I'm guessing I shouldn't hold my breath.

Deceptive return policy

The petite slouchy jeans I ordered were very long. The style did not work had they been shortened. I paid $268 and was offered $201 for a return, minus an additional $8 if I wanted a refund rather than store credit. The return policies indicate the $8 restocking fee, but nothing that would indicate a $67 deduction from the purchase price.

I’ve had a very disappointing…

I’ve had a very disappointing experience with Ruti’s customer service and shipping. I’ve now had issues twice with orders being lost in the mail.

The first time, I ordered a pair of pants using the first-time discount code. The size ran large, so I returned them and reordered a smaller size, even paying extra for priority shipping. However, the package took forever to ship through FedEx and never arrived. When I contacted Ruti, they told me it had been lost in transit and refunded me.

I asked if they could at least provide a discount code so I could reorder the pants again since I had waited over 14 days with no update, but they refused. That was frustrating because I never even got to try the pants I had been waiting for.

Because the pants are so popular on social media, I decided to try again and placed a third order. Unfortunately, the same thing happened. I’ve been waiting since 11/28/2025, and today is 12/11/2025 at 9 PM. My FedEx tracking still says it will notify me when the shipment starts moving—which is exactly what happened with my second order.

Ruti’s customer service is not responding, and the automated email simply tells me to “be patient,” even though they’ve already taken my money and provided no real update. At this point, I feel I have no choice but to contact my bank and report a possible fraud issue.

This company has been extremely unfriendly and unhelpful, and the overall experience has been very frustrating.

Shady business - no customer service

I ordered four items on expedited shipping. One arrived. I then looked at my email to track the others, and realized they (supposedly) used the SAME tracking number to send the other 3 items, but the tracking itself clearly states “one piece.” It’s been over 2 days and no response from customer service. The missing items cost more than $600. I’ll have to dispute it with my credit card. I’m amazed that a brand this high-end has such horrible customer service and shady shipping practices.

I've been charged $350 with no word…

I've been charged $350 with no word from customer service (just an AI robot) through email or the chat. Asked for a refund because it's been weeks since I placed my order. Never hear back from everyone. Really feels like this company is a scam.

Bad customer support, no items or refund after a month

Bad customer support, weeks of waiting time to process a return. After waiting an abnormally long time to receive an item, I returned it because of bad fit (the pant legs are quite short, much moreso than in photos) and another four weeks later nothing has been processed. There seems to be no humans on the other side of their customer service emails so I just have a 300 credit card charge and no items one month later.

WORST CUSTOMER SUPPORT

WORST CUSTOMER SUPPORT. It's an AI bot, nobody returns emails. I've been writing for weeks. No phone #. They charged my card $300 despite my cancelling my order and I have ZERO way to reach anyone. It's frustrating as hell. Never again.

High Price Items w/ Low Quality Customer Service

I ordered an item and waited for weeks for it to arrive. It turns out the item was backordered. Additionally the website apparently defaulted to the next available size with a shipping date more than 2 months away (July 9 to September 19). I emailed with requests to cancel the order and the reply stated that the order had been canceled. Today, the order arrived and I must pay a "restock fee" to return. Additionally, throughout the return process online, customers are "encouraged" to choose store credit, or additional items in exchange to an avoid a financial penalty to actually receive credit to one's method of payment. Communication and customer service is terrible for a higher end company (jeans cost $250-$300)
