Brian General Manager was able to help me fix a horn issue I had with my i20 hyundai. The service i received was absolutely amazing. Hyundai has an authorised dealer in Falkirk area to manage warranty repairs. Unfortunately the other dealer did not provide good customer service. I have complained to hyundai about their authorised dealer. SDM Group provide fantastic after care from the minute you purchase your vehicle. Well done SDM Group.

Cars are a major purchase for most people and if they have a good experience with the dealer they remember it next time.
So my dad bought a hyundai Konna from SDM nice clean car with good miles.
Six month on the service light came up. He also paid £500 for a two service package.
He was not informed that basically he would have to pay for a major service six months into his ownership.
Like i said people remember stuff like this and it has put him off buying another car from SDM.
Simple gestures go a long mile .... maybe SDM have forgotten this.

Outstanding assistance
My nearside mirror was struck and casing sprung from housing. Although indicator,folding function and mirror worked, l was concerned water would ingress and affect the motors.
On the off chance l went to SDM where l have bought 3 new Hyundai vehicles to ask for advice/assistance. Sadly l did not get the names but the gentleman at reception came out to try and fix the casing, he then advised he would speak to bodywork staff. A member of staff (with a beard) came out with him and with his knowledge and expertise he managed to click the casing back into position.
I was so grateful as water could have caused me major issues.
I cannot praise and thank SDM staff highly enough.
I have been a SDM customer for over 20 years (used and new cars).
The above service just reinforces my reasons for being a customer for such a long time.

Bought my first finance car at SDM was the first garage i went to and went with one i loved right away. not to mention the great interest rate deal that was on temporarily. right place right time :)
Dealt with Steven who made it quick and nothing was a bother. was smooth process and had it in less than two weeks ! would defo recommend this company. Had a test drive right away and no hassle when looking compared to other garages who hound you and change exactly what you originally went in to look for but not with SDM ! thank you
Great experience getting car fixed

Be on your guard
Needs must… We bought a very expensive low mileage (7,908 miles) automatic Toyota Aygo from SDM-Group Falkirk for my wife to ferry me backwards and forwards to hospital every day. The car had a new MOT and allegedly a full service, but turned it it only had a basic intermediary service. Less than three months since delivery the engine management lights came on indicating faulty oxygen sensors. However, the car has only done 1,000 miles (900 of them on motorways) since delivery but the front disc brakes make a grating noise and are worn out rendering the car unusable. Now SDM-Group Falkirk are willing to look at the car but informed me they will charge me for replacing the oxygen sensors and brakes and say I only had one month warranty and didn’t buy an extended one… what happened to consumer rights of 3 to 6 months warranty!! Warranty or not, the brakes shouldn’t be worn out after 1,000 miles if it had a full service as promised. SDM informed me the brakes now are worn out due to wear and tear… how on earth is that possible! I requested confirmation if the brakes are checked prior to delivery, they replied with some scribble on back of a job sheet, which I take with a pinch of salt almost unreadable nonsense saying the brakes were 20% worn… Maybe they meant 20% left! All this is unnecessarily stressful and not something we expect from a large dealer. We’ll be taking the car to have the brakes checked elsewhere and get an independent report. Please be very cautious if you go there.

At this busy time of the year you’d think it would be stressful buying a car on top of everything else, however because of the service I received from SDM , buying the car was the least stressful present I’d bought. My old VW was on its last legs
My old VW was on its last legs, I use the car for work and need something reliable, I shopped around and found some garages awfully pushy and didn't really trust them to do the right thing. But the guys at SDM were soo helpful, they let their cars speak for themselves and let me decide on the right one for me. As a woman this is important to me as it gets my back up when men in garages try to 'mansplain' things to me. I am so happy with my car, its running well and has given me no trouble whatsoever. SDM NOT TO BE TRUSTED ,STAY CLEAR …
SDM an absolute nightmare of a company and a car dealership which I have been loyal for years unfortunately.
I ordered a disability Car from Steven Grieve in August and with no communication from them within the sale I kept going in a couple of times and before I went on holiday and after and was told at start I would get the car in November therfore I went into branch before going away and after coming back, salesperson Steven saying that everything is in place .
Then received a call from them stating that they have lost the Hyundai franchise and taking all the Hyundai signs ect down tomorrow. I phoned back after calming down asking the salesperson Steven " how long have you known about this" he replied a month but he did say to me at least I still have a job ,but I don't have a car I replied.
When I did go into the showroom there was another lady in a state with multiple issues with her car which I overheard at the service desk and was told Steven was not in today. I said I just passed seen him in the office with Lisa the director,so I said I would wait. I did speak to the salesperson Steven eventually that day but no appoliigies but what I did say was how come you knew about losing your franchise some time ago and phoned me a day prior before taking the Hyundai signs down, no explanation whatsoever.
Then I went to another Hyundai dealer locally and they got me a car in 2 weeks ,which I now have and they could tell me that they knew that that sdm had lost Hyundai franchise 4 to 5 weeks prior to me knowing, absolutely obsurd .
STAY CLEAR OF THIS DEALERSHIP, Not to be trusted.I have had more issues with sdm than this but was prepared to give them a chance as they also misdiagnosed my car earlier on in the year with the parts still sitting on the passenger seat and took it out after the apparently fixed it but drove it a mile down the Road and the engine management light came back on ,then took back it in and looked over it again ,took them 2 days to comes back to me and wanted 4k to fix as they misdiagnosed it but I took it to another DEALERSHIP who fixed it for £250, was absolutely stressed out with the whole situation, there has been other issues with sdm and endless within sales and service department.I know they lost 90% of machanics and all service and all salespersons but obviously tells me this has been ongoing.
Completely lost Trust in this company and such liars and bad management and sales
STAY CLEAR FROM SDM IF YOU WANT TO GET A CAR OR YOUR CAR BACK IN GOOD CONDITION OR YOU WILL END UP WITH SERIOUS STRESS RELATED ISSUES.
