One word, amazing.
One word. Amazing.
Needed two suits, one for me and one for a child. Despite the store being very busy, nothing was toouch trouble. Genuinely cannot fault the service or the product at all. Unusual for a business in these times, but Slaters (Norwich) are still customer focussed and genuinely caring.
I'll be buying my suits ongoing, from Slaters.

I used to regularly shop in Slaters in Glasgow 20+ years ago before moving abroad. I went in this week for some clothes and I'm glad to see things haven't changed at all. The shop still has that old-style department store feel, the place was busy and there was a great buzz about the place.
The gentleman who assisted me was first class. He asked me what I wanted and pointed me straight to the correct area, and couldn't have been more helpful. (sorry, cannot remember his name) He took me to the cash desk, shook my hand and wished me a good day. 5-star customer service.
The young lady behind the till however seemed very inconvenienced that I had shown up to pay and she had to get up from her seat to serve me - no eye contact, no greeting, the only conversation to be had was "receipts in the bag" before she returned to her seat. 1-star customer service, hence only a 4-star review.

We popped in, in an emergency the day before a wedding, and Sean was fantastic. He helped us find the perfect suit and even had the trousers tailored there and then. Excellent service from start to finish.

The shop it's fantastic for a men's outfitters wouldn't go anywhere else. But I must also compliment the staff they are so friendly, helpful and pleasant so much so that I class them as friends. I've shopped at Slaters for a lot of years the quality of the clothes and service is excellent i've also had clothes delivered very easy to order on line very efficient and fast delivery.

Hidden gems in many towns. Great service & prices
We popped into the Cheltenham branch to purchase a new linen suit for my husband. We were asked if we needed help and explained the colour we were looking for. James the store manager couldn’t have been more helpful. A dying art in shop sales these days. James was almost bob on with his guess in size my husband would be, guessing one size smaller in each direction !! Much kinder to assume a more slender person than larger !!!! My husband tried on a couple of suits. The quality was far superior to any we looked at else where & much more affordable. We were happy but still wanted to test out the competition. We went away to see what other stores had to offer In Chelteham. M&S nice but wrong colour & no staff interaction whatsoever.
New store below Slaters. Didn’t have any in stock. New store in arcade was the same brand as the below Slaters store. So we went back up to Slaters and there his suit was waiting for him at the till. We spent a further 20 minutes seeking out the perfect coordinating tie & matching hanky. A new unblemished jacket was ordered and I will collect it tomorrow. If you e never tried a Slaters menswear shop. They are high street hidden gems. We have used them for suit hire for weddings. Shoes. Casual wear. Named brands at great prices. Thank you James.

1st class service at slaters menswear ayr needed suits for my wedding recently. I chose slaters where i was greeted by tony blair salesman. who measured and help me choose nice suits for me and my sons, and a massive thankyou to alan shop manager for making us all feel very welcome, these lads couldn't do enough for us a credit to the store 👍 i wont hesitate in future in knowing where i should go for a nice suit and great service thanks guys
