Great service, I'm just over the moon with my new suite, ready for wedding party at the end of the month, any of my friends need a new suit, I will recommend Slaters for great quality and fast delivery 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Bought a full zip sweatshirt which had a fault, rang Slaters & swapped item with local shop, also bought additional sweatshirt during visit.
Both purchases were well made & good value.
That's what I call excellent service, would recommend a visit.

I'm planning my wedding, with 7 groomsmen. We ordered 7 of the same suit with 4+ months notice. Slaters Liverpool have lost our booking twice, and now dont have enough suits to fulfill the order. At every single turn, they have messed this up. Now 4 of my 7 groomsmen have a suit, and there are none available. Worst experience

I have gone to slaters for my last couple suits as they are great quality and best of all, they have free alterations which is brilliant.
I would recommend to anyone!

I wanted to buy a suit for my son's wedding in June. I was recommended Slaters and they did not disappoint. The range of suits was great and they had my size in a large number of suits( I am a large man) the prices were very competitive and they made alterations for free. The attention and advice I received from staff when trying garments on was first rate. Well done Slaters.

Not being refunded for the suit carriers is very strange & tight, not customer service I am used to recieving

The returns policy was quick and efficient, however I ordered a tie and matching pocket slip on the original order. I then received the order which advised that the ties in that colour were no longer in stock, I had no option but return the pocket slip but was not refunded the original£4.95 postage. I have since been fully reimbursed.

When we when to go pick up a suit we were told it was not ready yet after we have waited 2 weeks and we’re expecting the suit to be done by the time we got there but I will say the staff were amazing and made us know when we could come back and pick it up

On line purchases were swift, accurate and of great quality with easy return process. At the store the team are extremely polite and helpful (mother is too much for them). Range is amazing, I visited the store 3 times in a week as the range and especially the quality are tip top. Well done and as Arnie would say “I’ll BE BACK” well done 👍

I had a very disappointing experience with Slater Menswear Newcastle while trying to arrange wedding suits for a large group.

Firstly, the phone number for the Newcastle branch appears not to work properly, as it would not ring when I tried calling to clarify a few points before visiting the store.

When we arrived in store, the service from an older female staff member was not helpful at all. We attended as a large wedding party to get fitted for suits, but several members of the group were given incorrect sizes. Multiple people commented that the suits felt far too tight and uncomfortable, yet we were repeatedly told they fitted correctly. It’s difficult to understand how a suit can be considered the correct fit if the person wearing it feels restricted and uncomfortable.

In one example, a chest measurement was taken and then a jacket two inches smaller was provided. We also had no proper shirt available to try on with the jackets, meaning we were trying suits on over T-shirts, which does not give an accurate impression of how the suit will actually look or feel.

When we mentioned that the trousers felt baggy and wanted to try a different fit, the staff member seemed reluctant and pushed us towards the first option suggested instead of helping us properly compare styles and sizes. Overall, it felt like she simply wanted us in and out as quickly as possible.

We also asked about trying another suit style, but were told she “didn’t know” whether our sizes were available. When I suggested checking, the response again felt dismissive, as though trying additional suits was seen as too much effort.

To make matters worse, we were told alterations could take “weeks and weeks,” which again came across more as discouragement than genuine customer service.

As a result of the poor experience, uncomfortable fittings, lack of helpfulness, and overall attitude we received, our wedding party has decided to purchase suits elsewhere.

Good quality shirt at a reasonable price. I have been a Slaters customer for many years & have always received first class service both in store & online. Thank you.
