Don't get conned by hidden terms and conditions. We paid a 10% deposit by credit card and weren't offered a swatch to take home so ordered one on-line which arrived 4 days later. Clearly wasn't going to suit our carpet colour etc so went in next day to try to change the colour as we liked the suite. Was told there would be a charge of £749 (25% of the cost of the suite) as changes can only be made within 48 hours. Terms were hidden away on page 8 of 18 pages of small print Ts & Cs which we hadn't been shown at the store and they couldn't provide us with a copy of our order and what the terms and conditions were that we'd ticked the box to agree on their tablet. If we want to cancel the order there's a 30% charge. If we'd bought on credit we'd have had a statutory right to cancel within 14 days. Have told them we're not going to pay their arbitrary penalties and they've said they're keeping our deposit. Currently we've made a complaint to the Furniture Ombudsman and the bank's Section 75 team to get our deposit back and have contract rescinded.

Outstanding service from Mattheu! We came into sofology on Friday 13/03 and Mattheu was so knowledgeable. Mattheu wasn’t aggressive with his approach like some sales people are. This was really appreciated. We came back in today and purchased the most beautiful sofa. Mattheu answered all of our queries and made us feel very confident with the purchase.

We attended the store yesterday and staff were very good. Today we went back and spoke to Mangai who was very helpful and answered all our questions. There was no pressure to buy anything but we did place an order for 2 sofas and a foot stall.

Great experience, not pounced on as soon as you walk through the door. Been in a few times and given plenty of advice and time to think. Purchased today with the help of a lovely sales assistant, Natasha. Looking forward to receiving our new sofas.

No pressure just let us look around got some nice things.we had a look around four other stores but came back to sofology as the sofa fitted what we needed Steve made us welcome as did other members of staff.also made a good coffee.just like to say thanks again for you help.

Mangai was very helpful in store and provided all we needed to enable us to complete our purchase.
She was also very prompt with follow up communications, to make the process as seamless as possible.

The hedge and staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful and informative and the process was really smooth. Amazing selection to choose from and in a really relaxed environment without the pressure pitch. Extra credit to Natasha who was fabulous!

The choice of products was extensive and the showroom was well laid out and clean. Browsing was a positive experience - we were asked if we needed any help but were then left to look around as much as we wanted to without being pestered. Sahil helped us with our purchase once we had decided. He was knowledgeable, helpful and very easy to deal with. We would definitely recommend this store to others.
