I traveled with this spray and hadn’t used it yet. A bit of it leaked out in my toiletries bag and I didn’t think anything of it until my hand started burning and my skin got little white bumps on it and continued to burn after I ran water and soap on it. Yeah, I’m not using this on my hair . Especially after reading other reviews of how much damage it has done to others hair.

I wish I were exaggerating when I say that a hair product has so much power, but this one really did it for me. Since I was a teenager, I've used other hair lighteners like sun-in, the sun bum brand, and just lemon juice, which I used to think were all good ways to lighten my hair in the summer, but they always ended up turning orange and nasty. For reference, I have dark dirty blonde hair that looks like an ashy, mousy brown sometimes. Last summer, I sprayed this Sunbabe on my hair and combed it through twice a week for 2-3 weeks. My hair completely transformed into a dreamy, dimensional, beachy blonde that I don't think hair dye could have ever achieved. It looked so natural that people didn't recognize me and a year later I still get more compliments on my hair color than I ever had before. I am only now ordering this again because my hair has grown out and I'm craving that perfect sunkissed touch now. THANK YOU SUNBABE <333

We are on a strict budget and I couldn’t get my hair done anymore! I also just don’t have the time to go to the salon either. I thought I was resigned to a life of mousy hair but then I found this. I really didn’t have much hope but figured it was worth trying. I bought the spray, mask and oil to make sure I got the best results possible. The before and after pictures speak for themselves! This is after one bottle. My hair is also way less damaged than it would be if I got it bleached at the salon. I also bought some highly pigmented purple shampoo regularly and used the platinum Kristin Ess Gloss once to cool it down a bit. I’ll be buying more to keep up with my roots.

Very slightly lightened my hair after two uses but the damage caused is just not worth it. I had really soft hair before and this has dried it out no end despite using lots of intense hair moisturising and oil products since putting it on.

I originally purchased this stuff to blend out my dark blonde roots with my ever-increasing grays. It WORKED! First application was at the beach on a partly cloudy day. Those were my favorite results! Great depth and somehow highlights. I have since applied it twice using the hair dryer method. My hair is super dry and brittle so I always coat it with jojoba oil before processes and BOTH times it gave me a great result with no orange/ yellows. The blue mask works like a charm though and in 30 seconds (it works super fast!) my new roots and blonde locks beautifully blend. My hair is down to the middle of my back so I am very protective of it but I will definitely be buying more of this and making it a regular part of my personal maintenance. Get this. It works.

It did work as far as lightening my hair but it damaged it SO much. My hair was fried. I also reached a stage where it was orange, so you had to keep spraying it to pass that stage and reach your desired color. But I had to stop because my hair died. I went and got black henna to cover the orange and also bring some health and life to my hair. Will never use this product again. Also, the company seems VERY fishy in that they delete negative comments and reviews.

Dried out my hair and turned an orangish color. Warning do not use. She won’t refund you if you’re unsatisfied.

I got this product during COVID and used if for a little while. I actually recommended if to a friend as I liked if so much. Both my hair and my friend's hair fell out from using this product. I feel horrible as my friends hair fell out a few months before her wedding. Still now, several years later I am trying to rehabilitate my hair.

I got this for my daughter's hair because she really wanted to go blonder but her hair never has reacted well to bleach or lightening color. It breaks off easily. It went through a very golden stage during
the process, but we just kept applying it. Sometimes I would just do certain pieces (while wearing gloves) and sometimes the whole head (avoiding the roots) so there could be some dimension. It took two bottles and about two weeks. We were outside a lot so this happened mostly in the sun, but we did do a few times with the hairdryer. Yes the process is longer than bleach, but her hair is SO healthy and beautiful instead of all broken
off.

I don’t understand the reviews that say this product ruined their hair, unless it was pretty damaged to begin with or they did not follow the directions. I’m a licensed hairstylist and I use this product on myself. It gives me gentle lightening and sun kissed highlights with less dryness or damage than permanent color or bleach. I highly recommend.

so i will be repurchasing this product for the rest of my life because i am a natural blonde (now dirty blonde because i don’t go in the sun as much) and i missed having super blonde hair. i’ve tried all the products on the market and nothing has ever compared to this. other products leave hair orange and not cute. this product works in legit 3 minutes, whether ur in the sun OR use a hairdryer- which is amazing if you want a fast color (u get the same results). i also love it because it has natural ingredients and doesn’t make my hair dry or damaged. not to mention it DRASTICALLY changes ur hair color in the BEST way possible. i am obsessed and could rave about this product forever. i get skeptical of products like this but there is no reason to be, and if you are deciding on buying it- buy it. you’ll thank me later

This provides subtle lightening that can yield noticeable results over extended use. I love the control this provides me in creating my own face framing balayage result. I don’t go to the salon anymore as I have gotten more compliments with this product paired with the toner!

I used it a few hours ago! I went to the salon recently and my hair turned out darker than I intended. I can already see a difference! What kind of sorcery is this?? let will probably use 1 more time and then I think it will be the perfect color. Thank you so much for coming out with this!!

Caused quite the allergic reaction on 2nd use.

This stuff actually works! Im truly surprised. My expectations were low honestly but wow so far i used it twice and it lightened my hair a lot!. I find it works best if you just blow dry for 5 min instead of trying to sit in the son all day.

My hair is soooo brassy after using this, and I am an experienced 'blonder'. Left my hair super dry as well. Bottle sprayer also broke after the 3rd or 4th use so it's useless at distributing the product. Way more expensive than other lightening products, and now I need to get my hair fixed at the salon. No, no, not ever again.

I ordered both the hair lightener and the blue mask, both of which had amazing reviews but did not perform anywhere near what was described. The solar hair lightener didn’t lighten my hair at all-instead it just changed the color of my brown hair. Where it was applied has now been turned a red-orange tint without any highlights and just as dark as before, just more…alarming. Even my seven year old asked me why my hair looked so dark and orange. I will have to spend the $200 now to have it fixed at the salon. I was hoping the blue mask would help, but unfortunately even after using multiple days in a row and leaving on for a LONG time, the tone of my hair isn’t any cooler. The product promised to be more effective than blue shampoo, but honestly the cheap blue shampoo you can get at a Walgreens works better. I’ve now realized that they selectively hide any negative reviews from their website because I left honest reviews that have not appeared. Please don’t fall for the Instagram marketing like I did. It’s too good to be true!

Only used it 3 times over the last couple of weeks. Not much sun in the UK, so I’ve dried it on low heat with the hair dryer. Everyone has noticed how much blonder my hair is and I’m getting a lot of compliments. So far I’m very happy with the product. Wish it sold directly from the UK!
