WARNING: Misleading Listing, Wrong Part, Wrong Invoice, Zero Accountability

Bliss Computers asked us to confirm the exact laptop model before shipping, supposedly to ensure compatibility. That gave us confidence. But the screen they sent was not compatible, had a different part number and did not work as described.

After we reported it, they hid behind the argument that it was a “compatible” item, even though it was clearly not functioning as promised. They provided only a return form, no prepaid return label and made it clear that for international orders they do not cover return shipping. We are now stuck with the loss of shipping costs, customs fees, return effort and hours of internal IT time for a product that should never have been sent in the first place.

To make matters worse, they also issued the invoice incorrectly and even after being asked multiple times to correct it, they did not fix it. That is completely unacceptable, especially in an international order involving customs and business documentation.

In my view, this is not just a bad experience for international customers. It suggests a much bigger problem: sending out parts that do not match the listing properly, issuing incorrect documentation and then shifting the burden, cost, and effort onto the customer. That feels deeply misleading and completely unacceptable.

I would strongly warn anyone against ordering laptop parts or screens from Bliss Computers!

Wrong panel sent and they initially take zero accountability

I ordered panel from them, very specifically and they delivered the wrong panel. At first they blamed me for it despite me telling them 5 times, not to ship the panel unless they had the very specific model I wished for. They shipped me a model i didn't want, a glossy one instead of matte. We came to an agreement eventually, but they kept me waiting a long time. I really needed the panel i had ordered prompty and it was a real hassle to deal with them. The panel works at least, it seemed new, but i am somewhat skeptical that it is. It did have dirt where it shouldn't have if brand new but who knows. It came with a protective film and the screen looked new from that angle. Really not happy that I got the wrong panel, but what i got despite being glossy isn't all that bad, and they agreed to a reduction in price of 15%. I would have shipped the panel back at their expense if i wasn't time pressed to take a panel because of their mistake though. Anyways, in the end, despite having me waiting, they showed a bit of good faith by giving me a discount.

I needed to replace a Display Assembly for a Dell Laptop. Bought it from Bliss Computers and it works flawlessly. I was happy that they verified that the screen fits to my laptop.

Very satisfied

I was looking for a specific display that I've found only at Bliss Computers, but I was sceptical at first. I contacted them via WhatsApp and they send pictures from the model I wanted as a proof. I then ordered the panel and it arrived in perfect condition (shipping from US to Europe). The only minor flaw was that the panel had glossy coating instead of matt, but they compensated for this by refunding 10$.

All in all I'm really happy with the result, especially if you consider that the display was no where else available. I would bye from them again in the future.

There aren't enough stars to match the BRILLIANCE of the staff, the trustworthiness, the professionalism, the patience, support. Bliss is one of the EXTREMELY RARE businesses left in this world, in-store or on-line who, no matter what, you'll feel like a "family friend" all the while you correspond with them. Diligent, caring, expeditious, informative, from the second you click "SEND" for your order to your receipt of the product, they stand by you in EVERY imaginable way!

So if you're looking for computer parts and you're considering Bliss, STOP READING AND GET BUYING!

Today, after a LOT off hesitation, I called Bliss this morning because I need a new screen for my old Dell lap-top. Until you've been in this position you couldn't understand the complexities because 1 screen does NOT fit all! Part, Serial, Model, numbers, numbers, numbers! I pulled the screen, wrote ALL the numbers, went on-line for all the specs on the lap-top, looked at about 6 different sites to buy a screen and decided to give Bliss a chance.

Picked up the phone, took a deep breath and dialed.

The gentleman who answered (I never got his name but I'm GRATEFUFL to him) listened to my concerns, asked me ALL sorts of particulars on my lap-top AND THEN SAVED ME SO MUCH TIME AND COST by letting me know that there were THREE different "options" on the screen BUT that only ONE would be the proper one. He spent ALL the time he needed to walk me through EVERY detail (and choice... because when I'd searched the site, about 12000 options came up), explained the variations, gave me the "SKU" that I need, price AND suggestions for notations that I ought to include with the order (more numbers).

What attention and compassion! Really rare these days!

THEN, when I started the order, there were choices of shipping so I called back to verify which shipper would be used for the different costs (and because I needed to know the shipper for my shipping address) and again, the most pleasant and concise answer.

Only just ordered the screen so we'll see what arrives and when and whether or not it fits BUT, just the support and service from Bliss deserves 10 stars out of 5! The "negative" reviews here are, I see, from 2024 so they may have changed staffing. But I took the risk, made the effort to call, spoke with a PERSON and it's made ALL the difference in the world!

(Will follow-up after the screen arrives, but will always appreciate today's experience.)

Ended up paying for a shattered product

Ordered, paid, received a shattered product, non-responsive, and I just ordered another one from Screenamara via Amazon next-day shipping at lower cost. I am sure any brand would be safer via Amazon instead of these guys because Amazon simply will not deposit money for the sellers if buyers file a claim within 2 to 4 weeks.

I am extremely dismayed by my…

I am extremely dismayed by my experience with this company, which appears to operate dishonestly. I lost over $300 dealing with them, and they seem to have mastered the art of evading accountability. No resolution or accountability from their side.

It is ultimately their issue. Instead of focusing on long-term business success, they appear more concerned with short-term financial gains. That's their problem. I repair computers, and this order was meant to be one of many. Now, it will be the first and the last.

They are not honest.
I was looking for a replacement screen for my 2015 MacBook Pro A1398 EMC 2909 but most of what you find online are refurbished, used or aftermarket until I came across their website listing exactly what I wanted: genuine brand new apple parts. I called them and chatted (see attachments) with them to make sure it's actually what I understood the condition to be. Boy, was I so wrong. To sell me a used parts with visible marks of abuse for the price of a brand new one is a dam scam that I can't tolerate. They will say anything to get your money. Be aware people.
They said the screen was a brand new, yet there were obvious scratches add tiny blots of paint.

Refuses to ship order for a compatible screen

I attempted to purchase a screen for my laptop. The version of screen that I purchased matches the model number of my laptop exactly. This is important info.

This laptop has two different screen options. The pin layout, connector, and motherboard are identical. To note, I've been repairing my own devices for years and I used to be a repair tech for cell phones.

At first I tried eBay. Unfortunately I made the mistake of asking them a question and telling them that I planned to swap my screen on a laptop that came with the other version (which as I mentioned is the exact same, just a different panel technology). They cancelled my order. I showed them a screenshot FROM ASUS, the manufacturer, who confirmed that it was compatible, and they told me it would be a fire hazard. LOL, that's not remotely true.

Finally I told them my model number, and they asked for my specs. Then they blocked me on eBay. I attempted to purchase on their website (since it's cheaper anyway), and they put my order on hold and then called me to say it was cancelled because they "weren't comfortable".

They aren't comfortable shipping a screen that is meant for my laptop? It's unfortunate that this is the only company selling this screen.

The OEM themselves declared it as compatible, Bliss' own website declares it as compatible, and the only reason they are denying my order is because I happened to mention on eBay that I'm swapping the panel.

For more context, I have the Asus X16 3060. This exact laptop has two screen options, the IPS and the Mini LED. Mine happened to ship with the IPS and I wanted to swap it for the Mini LED. Considering there are already other X16s with the Mini LED, I'm surprised they haven't caught on fire. LOL.

I've repaired hundreds of screens over my life (considering it used to be my job). I feel like this was more a personal vendetta against me because of the eBay exchange, and the fact that they blocked me from buying anything at all confirms this.

Decent company with quality product and fast shipping

I had an issue with my Sony Vaio laptop. My kid broke the screen while playing. I loved my vaio too much and thus did not want to replace it with another cheaper laptop. Thus i opted for the repairing of screen. I found blisscomputers through google and decided to give it a try. I received the product faster then expected. The installation did take me half an hour but I was amazed by the screen quality and the way it worked flawlessly in my laptop. I am a happy camper. Thanks.
