Such a shitty website. Will only recommend it to people I want to mentally torment.
so so inconvenient and once you click something you can never be sure what will happen. Its a gamble at everystep, will it work or if I click it twice will it charge me twice. Banking websites should be smooth and easy to understand, but this one underdelivers so much that I can not even trust it with safeguarding 10 bucks in any currency forget risky business such as investingn in stocks/MF/ETFs where precision and quick response is required. I get a headache even thinking that I need to perform some function using this platform. Forget humans, robots and AI cannot even navigate their platform and get things done. Something that will take no more than 2 mins on other platforms is impossible to do it here in less than 2 hours. I think their ux designer used to work with facebook before them, all he cares about is keeping the user on the platform. But unlike fb, ppl dont come here to waste time, I come here to get shit done and this is the worst way to get things done. Their motto must be add as much friction as possible at every step of the way. I am not even talking about security things, but simple things like if I am searching for a particular stock name, its search bar is damn irritating and cant give me the results, If I want more details about that scheme, I have to figure out what to click to get that info by clicking 5-10 useless tabs who would load taking their own sweet time. Hate being on it so much that instead of doing my financial stuff I went out of my way to write this angry rant instead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Mutual Fund page is very convenient to use. On old format as we could see the details of all transactions under a mutual fund and also use them for planning of redemptions. The new version which was beta till recently has become regular and it is thoroughly useless. Even my RM could not get the details which I wanted and he has promised to raise the issue with the ISec management. As an investor, I cannot get any information on Mutual Funds from the website. The first step would be to restore the old version and then incorporate all the features of the old version into the new, if migration to the new version is unavoidable. Very high brokerage, there are lot of brokers in market who will provide service for very very lesser charges... Even for the cancelled transaction also icici is charging brokerage. Not suggested for icici direct platform.. unnecessary people may end up with paying brokerage rather than making money..👎👎👎👎👎
I gave 2 physical securities for Demat personally when I visited Mumbai, Borivali Branch. They checked everything was in order and then I am wondering what happened to my application as there was no update from ICICI.
I co-incidentally picked up an "Unknown Call" apparently from Kaynee Courier, who supposedly are their official courier services and to my shock they had all my address details with phone no and when an "Unknown caller" asks you to confirm if you got an account with ICICI and has your correct address, phone no and spells your name out correctly, you would consider this as a phishing call,
I contacted ICICI Canada Immediately and Mr Grover was kind to tell me that they were verifying your address to send some documents.
May I request ICICI India to act in a "Civilized" way and be careful of sharing my personal information with a courier company ; be kind to update me that I would be receiving a call from them to verify address so I don't go in a panic mode!
I hope ICICI is hiring all well educated people; well THEY NEED TO IMPROVE ON COMMON SENSE IN COMMUNICATION TO CUSTOMER.
1) STOP SENDING MASS EMAILS and Text messages ABOUT TRANSACTIONS/ Statements - I know how to read my statement online and give us an option to disable mass transaction related EMAILs / text !
2) Send communication of things that are in process / relevant such as status of Demat application , etc. / if any courier is going to call or not.
3) GET RID OF DROP DOWN MENU TO select the issue you are facing to make a complaint , there are many issues that are not listed - does not mean they do not exist !
