This is my third TV in a little over 15…

This is my third TV in a little over 15 years from Richer Sounds.

Knowledge and Service is top notch - as is the warranty.. TV #2 developed a fault in its 3rd year and replaced no problem.

Will always buy from them with this level of customer support.

Great company service, shame a that the courier let them down on this occasion.

I found Euan at Richer Sounds to be more than helpful over the phone, resulting in a very smooth transaction. Delivery was prompt, but disappointingly the package was left on my doorstep and not in the safe place that I specified, despite receiving a message confirming that it would be. I had to contact a neighbour to collect it. Luckily they were available.
I am impressed that Richer Sounds care about their customer's experience as they contacted me and were eager to understand the problem. They offered me a voucher towards my next purchase as a gesture which I am pleased to accept.

Brilliant experience

My husband found the TV we wanted. One call to our local Newcastle shop paid and delivered the next day. Best service we have ever received. Well done 👍

Been using richer sounds for years but…

Been using richer sounds for years but after a recent fault with a 2 year old tv was passed on to the manufacturer that just rather offer me next to nothing and no replacment parts ,if I had know richer sounds warranty was not there own but manufacturer why shop with them? After I discussed this over the phone I was really important to them....so £50 was offered towards another tv ,but I had lost out in hundreds of pounds with a warranty that would be cheaper for them to "pay you off" rather that replacing defective parts.

I’m sorry to see that the outcome didn’t leave you with the level of confidence you’d normally expect from us, particularly given your history with Richer Sounds. Our 6 year guarantee is very much our own, and we remain responsible for supporting our customers throughout. In some cases, we’ll work with the manufacturer to explore repair or contribution options, as this can often lead to a quicker or more favourable resolution. In your case, LG were unfortunately unable to repair the TV but did offer a significant contribution towards a replacement, which we then topped up in line with our guarantee to further support you.

While I understand you ultimately chose to take a refund of that amount, it’s clear this hasn’t felt like a satisfactory outcome from your perspective, which is disappointing. We’d really value the opportunity to put this right and restore your faith in us, so a member of the team will be in touch to discuss this further. Guy in the shop listened and heard

Guy in the shop (Harry) listened to what I wanted and picked up an item straight away - fitted perfectly with what I was after. It was a shop model so he arranged for a new one to be delivered (free of charge) it arrived quickly and is great. Smooth transactions from start to finish- am a very satisfied customer!

We can hope to expect everything to be…

We can hope to expect everything to be perfect, but it's not always the case. I'd bought a new TV about 8 months ago, which started getting issues after a short while. Richer Sounds staff guided me through the full process of repair. I'd had a repair and it unfortunately didn't solve the issue. Again, these things can happen. Flawless service and assistance from the staff, and I've had the TV replaced with what I can only describe as amazing. The other TV itself, isn't bad for specs, just an issue that can arise, like many products we buy.

I've been buying from Richer sounds since my grandad recommended then, he always bought from there from day one of the Newcastle store opening, I've been going there for 25+ years, too. And I'll keep buying there when I need what they sell. The staff are knowledgeable without the arrogance I've come across in many other hifi stores. Euan, you're a star. And the other staff I'd spoken to, apologies, I've forgotten your names, but you all excel at what you do. Well done lads.

I do miss the paper leaflets with all the current offers though. Man, you guys offer some serious bargains over the years. The mordant short Avant 5.1 was hands down the best purchase I ever got there. Had that set over 14 years.

Great Service

Ordered over the phone as was in Newcastle and able to pick up from the store there.

Great service but so disappointing Richer Sounds no longer delivering to the Channel Islands. Got my whole sound system from you guys, albeit 10yrs ago. God, I hate brexit!

Great service as always

As always, a great experience shopping from Richer Sounds. I purchased a BenQ TX710 and cannot fault it, so easily set up, finding the 4 corner keystone extremely useful, the image is tight in the masking for the first time ever and the picture quality, only WOW fits with that.
