Ignored Repeatedly, Refund Still Not Returned
I made a prepayment several months ago against a quotation, in error following a larger order for some solar PV materials, and no goods were ever dispatched. When I first asked for a return of the payment, I was told the only refund option was a cheque and was advised to leave the credit on my account. When it became clear we weren’t going to purchase anything further, I requested the refund again. Instead of processing it, I was asked to provide an invoice for the payment, which obviously didn’t exist because it was paid against a quote.
I sent both the original quotation and our bank statement entry showing the payment, yet this still wasn’t investigated. I’ve contacted the company at least ten times about this and received only one further reply, which simply repeated the request for an invoice and stated we had no account with them. Although the refund itself is not substantial, they have made no effort to investigate the issue, shown no willingness to return the money, and even when I tried reaching additional members of the team, I was ignored.
