Return started. Less than 2 weeks bought.. return stated the live tree was exempt... Not happy. DO NOT BUY.. BIG CON. 61 QUID DOWN WITH EXTRAS. Leaf drop did everything stated bought every thing. Light moisture nutrients as described for a chinese elm.. scam

We’re really sorry to read this and completely understand how frustrating it can be when a tree drops leaves shortly after arrival.
We can’t see that you contacted us before starting the return, which is a shame, as we would have been very happy to help with care advice and troubleshooting. Chinese Elms can sometimes drop leaves after a change in environment, especially after delivery and moving into a new home, but this does not always mean the tree is dying and in many cases they recover well with the right adjustments.
As live trees are perishable items, they are exempt from our standard returns policy.

I honestly cannot recommend Yorkshire Bonsai highly enough. From start to finish the whole experience was absolutely first class. I dealt with Eve throughout and the customer service was exceptional — friendly, knowledgeable, professional and genuinely passionate about bonsai.
Every question I had was answered quickly and thoroughly, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. It’s rare these days to find a company that combines outstanding products with such personal and attentive service, but Yorkshire Bonsai absolutely does.
The quality of the bonsai and accessories exceeded my expectations, everything arrived perfectly packaged, and you can tell a huge amount of care goes into what they do. Eve in particular made the entire experience feel personal and welcoming rather than just another online purchase.

1st class and frinedly advice
I called the other day for advice in caring properly for my 10 year old Chinese Elm, a beautiful tree made all the more important as was a most thoughtful gift made to me by my wife.
Turns out that I'm not going far wrong, but I was really fortunate to speak with Paul who was so thoughtful, understanding and generous with his time and knowledge, and who gave me the tweaks I need to make in order to let the tree be at it's best.
In the modern day, it's really refreshing to get such passionate and tailored customer care direct from the experts, and without negotiating forms, chat bots and endless wait times.
I'm much more confident now in caring for my Bonsai and keeping it in the fine shape it arrived in from such a wonderful company.

Very very happy with my new Bonsai pot

The Chinese pepper tree is great
The Chinese pepper tree arrived very quickly, well packed & secure. The compost was still damp.
After a couple of weeks it is healthy in its nice bonsai pot that it was despatched in .

We lost our bonsai after 5yrs
We lost our bonsai after 5yrs , it died slowly, very sad, we live in Essex, started looking in local garden centers, no luck then further afield , when we found a place stocking bonsais they were nothing like ours ( zanthoxylum pipertum ) but I didn’t know that at the time , I’m
Old don’t love modern tech but reluctantly turned to google haha ,
And there it was , Yorkshire Bonsai , seemed to be endless pics , didn’t take long to find the one we had & now new the name , then I found one that looked very much like mine had , ermmm sorry I should have said this was on eBay, from there it was made so easy for me , I messaged saying I wanted a particular one , superwoman messaged me back saying no problem at all they would that , so I sent a pic , 2/3 days later it arrived amazingly packaged, we’ve had a week , it comes with brill info on how to care for it long term , it gleams , it couldn’t look any better , so happy , I’d like to thank all at Yorkshire Bonsai for making it so easy especially Superwoman,

They’ll take your money but fail to deliver
Very poor service. I ordered a bonsai tree on 30 March and paid for delivery to the USA. My order was confirmed for delivery to an American address on 14 April. So far, so good.
Two weeks later, on 13 April Yorkshire Bonsai emailed me to say they couldn’t deliver plants to America, and would be cancelling my order with a full refund. So I was left scrabbling around trying to find a replacement birthday present for someone on a different continent, with just a few hours remaining before their birthday.
I managed to find an alternative supplier but had to pay a large fee for express delivery to get the present there on time. Although Yorkshire Bonsai refunded me the price of my original order, they refused to cover the extra costs that I incurred as a result of their failure.
Yorkshire Bonsai says it’s my fault for not spotting a notice on their website saying they can’t currently deliver to the USA. Why did the website let me place an order and pay for delivery to the USA then? And why did it take 2 weeks for them to bother to tell me.
Do not use this company if you want peace of mind that an order will be delivered.

As outlined on our website, we’re currently unable to ship live plants outside of the UK, including to the USA, due to import restrictions. While we appreciate this may have been overlooked, the information is available prior to purchase and we do encourage customers to check or contact us if they are unsure, particularly for international or time-sensitive orders.
That said, we do recognise that the order being accepted and the delay in identifying the issue added to the inconvenience, and this is something we are reviewing internally to improve going forward.
A full refund was issued as soon as the issue came to light.
