Chris Budd was an amazing instructor always has faith in you and always has a good chat with you he’s friendly and calm he helped me pass my test 2nd time witch I hat no faith in myself to pas but he did he always had faith

All thanks to Sam. Indeed he is the best, he was a patient and understanding driver. I passed at my first attempt, he made me comfortable, gave me the best advice and taught me in such an amazing way and he even asked me to drive round the route a day before my practical exam!! If you need a good, loving and professional driving instructor, I will always recommend Sam. Thank u to Mr Sam once again.

First thing which I think is most important is that the instructor made me feel calm and comfortable but at the same time alert from day one. I also liked how they go into detail on errors and how they can be corrected. I would definitely recommend a friend, which I already did 😁. Thanks a lot 1st driving school.

Tim was a great instructor. I was able to learn manoeuvres like parallel park easily.

Kev was absolutely fantastic! He was very patient with me when I needed it, extremely knowledgeable and didn't overload me with information straight away, always kept to the bookings we arranged and was a genuine down to earth person. I was very anxious to start driving bit Rif was always so accommodating through my lessons. He taught me everything I needed to know to pass my driving test first time, and to be a safe confident driver. Highly recommend Rif and 1st driving school.

Stuart took over my daughters tuition at the last minute and worked so hard to get her match fit for her exam, fitting in extra lessons to ensure she was as ready as she could be and giving her the confidence that she was more than capable of passing, and she did! I absolutely enjoyed all driving sessions with Stuart. He is very friendly, supportive and he has always encouraged me to be a safe driver. Without the continuous support and motivation from my driving instructor, it would have been very difficult for me to pass the test.

I had Michael Harmer as my driving instructor. He explained things very clearly and always answered any questions I had during my lessons. I was extremely pleased to have passed my test with only 1 minor. I would definitely recommend.

Absolutely could not fault 1st Driving School and especially Dan Evans (my instructor) for helping me gain the skills and knowledge to ensure that I drive to a safe and high standard.
It was incredibly easy to start learning, just by applying on the website and they allocated an instructor based on my location - they were friendly on the phone and told me how to go about applying quickly and efficiently.
Dan was excellent at teaching and is very patient and friendly - helping me by correcting any issues I had quickly and effectively. Dan allowed me to be more confident when behind the wheel and scheduled our times for lessons based on my busy work schedule and was able to adapt and change times if/when needed.
The app (TotalDrive) that was used meant I was able to see my progress and understand the points that I needed to improve on and also allowed me to see when my next lessons were, how many hours I had completed and how many credits I had.
This combined allowed me to pass my driving test first time with only 3 minor faults and will aid me in driving to a high standard for the foreseeable future.

Michael is a great teacher and has thorough understanding of how to pass a practical test. He was very flexible and accommodating when it came to booking lessons as I wanted to pass as soon as I could. I only got 3 minors in my practical test, this is no doubt attributes to Michael’s calm and excellent droving lessons.

Amazing driving lessons with Rif. He was really patient which I found calming as a new driver and also very encouraging. Couldn’t have asked for a better instructor or driving school.
