Needed a plumber to replace central heating pump and renew the pipe work which had leaked for years.Joel arrived within an hour identified the work needed and replaced everything in a few hours. A very professional service provided by an absolute expert tradesman!
A thoroughly delightful experience great worker and very knowledgeable did the work efficiently and system all up and running .I highly recommend this company and will use again and i will tell my friends and family! Thank you so much Joel! Thought we were going to have a cold house for the possible snowy weather to come.

Had an urgent problem from a boiler leak next door soaking party wall. Damian came within the hour to take photos and offer advice and book an on-going appt. as we couldn't access the neighbours house. Neighbours later attended to the matter and Damian did not charge me for this call out. Much appreciated. We have used this company before for new bath and basin taps (which they sourced as we wanted a particular variety) and to fix a blocked toilet. Both Damian and Joel were prompt, professional, friendly and did a first class job. Many of us in our community now use this company and are glad to have two first class plumbers to hand when needed.

Rang to ask if they could sort a problem with a wash basin and to fit a new bathroom tap. Although I stressed it was not urgent Damien (?) came out straight away and fixed the wash basin problem in about an hour. No criticism of the work although cost was high - the verbal quote was "plus VAT" and "I might need to include other parts". Came to £185. Parts about £20 max. Never came back to fit the tap. Wouldn't use again. Have now found another plumber to fit tap at reasonable price.

Today, I enjoyed my fourth attendance, over a shortish space of time, by 1st Aid Plumbing. The first three were by Joel Magdalena. All three jobs Joel did were done to perfection. I knew from my research that Joel's father is close by, and I assumed that for Joel to be so accomplished, his father must be a master plumber. And I was right!

I met Damian Magdalena today. He came in response to my probably very inarticulate statement of a nasty problem: My beloved enamelled cast-iron bath tub was definitely out of service because it had developed a mould that persisted even after daily scrubbing for at least two months.

I needed my hand-held shower head turned into an overhead shower. I trawled the internet for a freestanding shower-head holder, and found nothing.

Then Damian arrived in response to my plea for help. It took him a few seconds to design what I needed. He went back to his workshop to construct it.

Anything would have done, so long as it worked. But what I got from Damian is a decidedly glamorous construction. I swear I was close to tears.

Oh, my! I know myself lucky way beyond expectation that I have two top-notch plumbers on whose rapid-response help I can rely. Thank you, Damian and Joel!

Came within 2 hours of my call. Fixed my blocked drain in ten minutes. Helpful, friendly and reasonable.
