As an academic professor, I have moved at least 8 times. The last relocation from Maryland to Florida with 495 Movers was the best. Outstanding from start to finish

They did a virtual survey of our suite contents, dropped off the boxes, giving us sufficient time to pack. They were on time, efficient and careful with our boxes. They patiently moved furniture around several times until we felt it was in the right spot.
This is the second time we've used them and will use them again should the need arise.

We used this mover in Feb 2025.

What went well: The moving team worked very well and the relocation was done professionally. Their packaging was good as well and communication was smooth.

What could be improved: The initial estimate and actual bill was different by a relatively big margin. I have moved a number of times in past and my preferred mover is always a different company. This is the first time I used 495movers based on low cost estimate. But the actual bill came out higher.

I felt that the company was trying to get the customers by providing lower estimate, but at the time of acutual billing the amount gets higher.

495 Movers moved us twice in a month: once from our old house to storage and then from storage to our new house.
We were able to schedule moves that were convenient to us.
