This morning I took my driving test and passed. Thanks to Babar. We only had a handful of lessons together but he made sure I was prepared and confident. His teaching style is great and he makes things very easy to understand. Can’t thank and recommend him enough!

I passed my test yesterday on first attempt all thanks to my instructor Iqra she’s amazing I couldn’t recommend anyone else just go for her she’s extremely calm always on time make me comfortable during lessons her way of teaching is excellent i am so grateful having you as my instructor once again thank you so much Iqra and off course A1 driving academy.

I am leaving this review to warn others about a very concerning experience with a senior driving instructor.
During the course of lessons, the instructor repeatedly made unwanted romantic advances towards a female learner.

Instead of maintaining a professional instructor–student relationship, he made unwanted romantic advances towards a female learner, making her feel uncomfortable. He made promises that he could not keep and repeatedly told her things that turned out not to be true, which had a significant emotional impact on her.

A driving instructor is in a position of trust, and learners should never be put in a situation where they feel, uncomfortable, or manipulated.

Based on this experience, I believe the instructor's conduct was unprofessional and inappropriate. I hope the company takes this matter seriously and ensures that all instructors maintain the high standards of professionalism that learners deserve.

I honestly can’t recommend Serwan enough if you’re looking for an automatic driving instructor in Derby!

Before learning with Serwan, I had three different driving instructors and always struggled with driving anxiety. I never felt confident behind the wheel and started to think passing just wasn’t for me.

Choosing to learn automatic with Serwan was the best decision I ever made. He is incredibly friendly, patient, supportive, and always made me feel at ease. He adapted lessons to suit me, built my confidence slowly, and was so flexible and understanding throughout the whole process.

Thanks to his amazing teaching, I passed first time after just two months of lessons! I never thought I’d be able to say that.

I had saima as thr instructor and she was the best instructor you can have because she explained everything carefully and in a easy way and never got angry even when I made some mistakes. she is the best instructor you can have and i passed first time with her.

I passed first time and couldn't be happier. I had Haji and Manny as instructors, and they were fantastic from start to finish. Incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and attentive. They really know how to prepare you for test day and know how to spot your weaknesses and give really good support and guidance - I was more than ready on the day. Can't recommend them enough!

I had the best experience with both Haji and Manny as instructors.I’ve previously had 5 other instructors but my experience with A1 has been by far the best.They teach with patience and clear instructions and can adapt to your ways of learning to make the process enjoyable but informative.I was able to pass in just over 13 weeks with little prior experience in driving. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience they’re are not only great instructors but good genuine people.

Passed First time!!!!Had Josh as my instructor, couldn’t have asked for anyone better i felt incredibly confident going into it all thanks to him calming my nerves and being so patient!!! would 1000% recommend!

Fantastic experience from start to finish with Josh, he was very thorough with his explanations, remained calm and patient and helped me to stay focused whilst driving.

I had lessons with A1 with Mr.Babar Muhammad instructor he is very good instructor teaches you very well by following all the DVSA rules. A1 is affordable, experienced and cover all the routes. I had my test today with 1 minor and passed it as my Instructor taught me well and we covered the route I followed today. I recommend A1 to everyone.

After failing my practical twice in a row and feeling hopeless, I trained with you and finally passed my driving test. I would recommend more people in to do more lessons with you!!

Today i passed my driving test with Ali from A1 driving academy and i couldnt have asked for a better instructor. He is very calm and kind and explains everything in a way which will make you feel comfortable in having him as you driving instructor. I would highly recommend Ali to anyone looking for a professional and supportive driving instructor!

My driving instructor Muhammad Tanveer Ahmad was really the best instructor you can have as he's really patient, and fortifies the theoretical knowledge too .He knows his craft really well and if you want an instructor who really teaches you rather than just give you driving experience, he's the one .Thanks to A1 driving and my instructor Muhammad Tanveer Ahmad, I now can drive well and with confidence.

Nothing but good things to say! I passed my driving test first try thanks to my amazing instructor Haji Akhtar. He was calm, supportive and patient throughout our lessons. He prepared me well for the test. I highly recommend him as an instructor.

Ateeq is a brilliant driving instructor, very helpful and clear with his instructions and methods. If you want to pass 1st time definitely go for him :)

I am very happy to share that I passed my driving test on my first attempt, thanks to my instructor - Talat. His guidance and teaching style were calm, clear and very structured, which helped me build confidence quickly. He explained everything with great patience, almost like teaching a complete beginner from scratch, which made the learning process so much easier.
