Good process

I found Ace Aviation excellent to deal with. Their enrolment was easy so access to their portal was straight forward. Steps and support to complete the training was excellent. They explained the process after passing the training very well so you understand what happens next.

Ace Aviation is one of the most unprofessional and frustrating companies I have ever dealt with. Their communication is absolutely terrible—they don’t reply to texts, emails, or phone calls, and when they finally do, it’s usually full of excuses and delays. The information they give is misleading at best and outright lies at worst, making it impossible to trust anything they say. Schedules, promises, and timelines mean nothing to them, and you’re left constantly chasing answers with no results. There is a complete lack of accountability and professionalism, which is unacceptable for a flight training environment. I strongly warn anyone considering training with Ace Aviation to stay away and look elsewhere unless you want wasted time, money, and endless frustration.

This company is utterly disgraceful and operates on misrepresentation and false promises. I paid $4,159 for a so-called “Platinum” package that they have demonstrably failed to deliver.

The company repeatedly says they will deliver the outstaning training items in the package yet makes no genuine effort to provide the services that were paid for. Phone calls go unanswered, and follow-ups never occur. Digital material is poor with broken links, bad formatting and does not properly work.

My initial dealings with Mark, the owner, were polished and reassuring, clearly designed to secure payment. Once the money was taken, that professionalism vanished entirely.

This business is characterised by delays, broken commitments, and a complete lack of accountability and communication. It should be treated with extreme caution by anyone considering engaging their services. The most unprofessional business I have ever experienced. I have currently reported them to Fair Trading and the ACCC.

When I first looked at these guys they looked really great, got in contact and they answered my questions well. My problem came later on when I found a different drone school I wanted to do my RePL and ReOC through, well, they just ghosted me, no communication, no confirmation of cancellation, no refund, just left in the dark with ZERO communication from anyone over 2 weeks later!! Disgracful for a business to do this as this has also impacted on my own business!

It has been years now, and I still have not completed the RePL. Ace Aviation does not have the trainers or the facilities required to process the number of bookings they take.

They advertise nationally, but do not have the systems in place to fulfill their obligations

It has been fabricated excuse after excuse, lies, postponements, and that's when you can get in contact with anyone

It has been an absolute nightmare. Please don't fall for the flashy website and grand promises; it's completely misleading. Once they have your money, it's an uphill battle chasing them

I am currently in communication with CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) to try to get their training licence revoked

I recently completed my drone training and licence with Ace Aviation and had an excellent experience. From the very beginning, the team was professional, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping every student succeed.

The instructors are highly knowledgeable and break down complex CASA rules and drone operations into easy-to-understand lessons. The practical flying sessions were especially valuable – not only did I gain confidence in handling different drones, but I also learned real-world safety procedures and industry best practices.

The course material was well structured, the training centre was well equipped, and the staff were approachable whenever I had questions. They also guided me through the paperwork and licensing process, which made things much smoother.

Overall, Ace Aviation has given me both the skills and confidence to operate drones professionally. I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking to get certified or improve their drone flying knowledge.

Good student support team, helped me a lot in the conversion of a CASA part 61 license to a RePL. Quick response time as well.

Great Service

It took them two years to upload the documents to CASA for issuing the licence.

Student support was responding for several months but you could reach the sales team and they would attend the call immediately.

They just didn't care. They started working to find the papers only when I asked for a full refund.
They couldn't even offer to give some money back or any other compensation for their wrongdoings/delays.

Excellent training with all material being covered in a professional and easy to understand manner. The trainer made it very easy to grasp concepts I was not familiar with while keeping content I knew interesting and engaging

I recently took the RePL and AROC courses at Ace Aviation Aerospace Academy as part of the Gold Package and had a fantastic experience. The trainer, Ray was great - super knowledgeable and very helpful.

I'm definitely excited to come back for the 25 kg drone training when the budget can cover it.

Great team and great communication. While the lessons are long the course conductor makes sure that you comprehend the module before moving onto the next.
Ray was great at making himself available at anytime if we had a question that we needed an answer too.

Recently I completed the Bronze RePL and AORC. It is a challenging course but very well resourced and presented. My instructor Ray Farmer presented the course material clearly and was engaging throughout the zoom presentations. The days are long and filled with information. It takes some processing however Ray was very generous with his time and knowledge ensuring that all students have an understanding of the topics covered. The flight component of the course was very hands on. Under Rays guidance each activity of the day was very well planned and ran smoothly. I have throughly enjoyed the course and look forward to building on these new skills into the future.

There was lots of information packed into the three days of classroom training. The teacher Ray was very helpful and supportive. It's not a walk in the park but with the support from Ace made the whole process rewarding.
