Had a bunch of houseplants that i was sure would get crushed. A Better Moving put each one in its own box with paper towels around the pot. Not a single broken leaf. Still alive two months later.
I ordered way fewer boxes than i needed. Rookie mistake number two for the day. A Better Moving just said "we have extra in the truck" and gave me like ten for free. Didn't make me feel cheap or anything.
The inspection at my old apartment was scheduled for the same time as the move. Landlord showed up with a clipboard. Walked around while A Better Moving worked. One mover said "excuse me" every time he passed her. Very polite. She didn't even notice. But i did.

Long drive. I was stressed cause i had a lotta fragile stuff - mirrors, plates. Nothing cracked. They wrapped things in blankets. One dude asked if i wanted to help carry the heavy box and i said no and he laughed. Would use this movers company in Sacramento again.
The packaging material is ours, but they gave us almost no choice.
