It depends on the course. The one on GDPR was terrible. There was no transcript, and the interviewer was hard to follow, so a lot of the course was difficult to retain. A transcript would have helped.... Voir plus

A thorough and well presented course
I have to do safeguarding courses regularly due to working in Education. I was impressed by the course content and layout. I thought the extra videos and content brought it to life and helped make the knowledge 'stick'.

Highly recommended for professional development
Really impressive array of educational courses, which cater for a variety of needs. We've been using Academize for a couple of months now and can't fault it. Super easy interface, great learning content and really good customer support. All in all a great experience.

Excellent Tutor Support
The professional development opportunities offered by Academize to Connex Tutors contribute to improving the educational attainment, personal wellbeing and ultimately the life chances of children and young people daily. All colleagues delivering tuition through Connex Tutors are required to complete a suite of Academize courses pre-deployment, which ensures they are well equipped to deliver high quality, appropriately pitched and safe intervention to their pupils. The provision from Academize allows us to onboard and upskill educators quickly and efficiently, enabling us to deploy them fully prepared to schools and pupils.
Once engaged in a placement, all Connex Tutors engage in our Quality Assurance programme. The aim of the process is to assure the highest standards of delivery for children and young people, but equally to support the professional development of tutors. Where a development need is identified with a tutor, the extensive course library hosted by Academize allows us to quickly respond. Within hours, a tutor can discuss their professional development need with us, which can be matched to one of the Academize courses. We know that the content of the courses, written and produced by experts in the field of education, offer robust and appropriate insight, information, and recommendations to support our tutors in developing their practice.
Academize’s platform and support team make administering their courses simple and efficient. Many of our tutors have told us how pleased they were with the service and how great the impact it had was. We trust Academize to provide the most up to date and important information to our tutors especially regarding Safeguarding. Any changes to national legislation are quickly included into courses, allowing us to keep tutor’s knowledge current. The bundles and course packages are also useful when a tutor notifies us of a particular career pathway they would like to explore.
I would recommend Academize wholeheartedly and look forward to our continued partnership with them in the future.
