ACE take orders for items they cannot supply
Ordered an oven and a hob from Ace at a cost of over 3000 AED .Their online system told me both items were in stock , they would be delivered in 2 to 4 days and took my money . Two days later l was told neither item was in stock and that my order would be cancelled . I asked about a refund and Ali Abaza told me l would have to wait for it to be authorised . Quick enough to take my money for items they did not have in stock , and even worse , had no idea when they would get restocks . Having posted a very bad response on Ace's customer service site, l got a phone call from a woman ( sorry , do not know her name ) apologising for the mistake ( read useless stock control system) and telling me l would be informed when the refund went through . I have since been told refund has been made but as yet , have received nothing . At the time of ordering l could have got the hob cheaper at Carrefour as it was on a limited time special offer . I decided to buy from Ace at the higher price for the convenience of placing just one order for the two items with just one delivery . By the time Ace came back to me to tell me they had no stock , Carrefour had stopped it's limited time offer . So l ended up paying Carrefour 200 AED more for the hob than it had previously been offered for . However , unlike Ace , Carrefour deliverd both the hob and an alternative oven two days later . Clearly , l am not alone in my experience with Ace and it's none exsistant stock control system, it's willingness to take money for items lt does not have in stock or know when it will be able to obtain them . It is also in no hurry to refund monet it has taken under false pretenses . Quite simply , l feel l cannot ever trust Ace and would advise others to be aware of their lack of customer care and untrustworthy stock control system .
