WORST COMPANY TO WORK EVER
I haven't started yet to work, just finished my training and I had several issue with the company.
They have really bad communication in between manager and coordinator.
You have always to c have them to get all the information, the management is awful. I had to keep chasing them for my train booking, for my hotel bookings & even for having the information for my assignment. When I did receive my assignment the information was incomplete and wrong, nobody discuss with you, and then they try to blame it on you. I actually have to go for an online training at 10 am this morning and I haven't received the link for the online training. When you call the manager if you starts to complain about the fact there is a lack of communication, the manager will forward you to the voice message., or hang up the phone on your face as they did this morning cause I called them the lady has quick explain they will chase and then she hang up the phone to my face.
They as well underpaid. They lied to you. There is two types of jobs live in or live out.
I initialy have a contract as live in, but they don't have job and they use new people just to fill out the emergency or cancellation last minute, otherwise they don't have job and then they put you on live out where the rate is 2£ more and they pay you as live in and specially over the nightshift they underpay you and they don't respect your contract.
The senior manager is an awful women, who she is super rude and she doesn't have any empathy. I explained the stress I got since a week with the fact that the management doesn't do their job properly and they put everything on your back; doesn't look after the new staff properly and there is no job at all, and they don't respect the contract.
UPDATE 10 March =
They did on last minute my online training on the train while I was coming from France to Gloucester for my shift on the evening. Arriving in Gloucester, they have called me and cancelled my shift last minute without any reason and asked me to come back to London and no finding any solutions for me. They knew I was coming from France, and they were no empathy or help as I was tight already with money. The management is AWFUL , I was devastated and I resigned.
I definitely not recommend this company, Im raising a complain to the director of the company for the way how I have been treated by the management and experienced full stress and waisting time and money.

Poor management. Frightening lack of basic knowledge within their supposed area of domain expertise.
Active Care Group is part of the SkyNews Huntercombe Mental Health scandal. This caused Sylvia Tang to resign despite her claiming it was before she was CEO of Active Care Group, however there is a photo of her on the public notice board as a director of Huntercombe Group.

Poor nursing hygiene leads to constant infections. Not just contract staff but full time nurses leave patients in soiled underwear which quickly leads to infection.
Activewear Group let down.
I sent an order for 30 T/Shirts on the 10th December 2022. The company say 3 - 7 business day standard delivery.
I sent an email on the 17th December requesting an update for the order, no response, I made a phone call today 21st December, unfortunately a message states they cannot answer the phones owing to the Covid restrictions.
For the record, I have made 2 smaller purchases with no issues, an email stating that they are behind with orders would have mollified me, Customer Service & communications are non existent on this order.
The T/Shirts where for an Army Cadet Detachment Christmas present, time for delivery was fine for embroidery to be done in time for Christmas.
1 star would have been no stars, unfortunately the site doesn't allow it
