Window Films Direx Limited Avis 

We ordered several rolls last month and only received half of the quantity.
Their customer service is terrible and they are still claiming to have sent out all the rolls.
The Norton shopping guarantee is stated on the order email, but it is lacking the guarantee number. So you can not make a claim..
After 14 days of trying to get this resolved the only option is to contact the bank and dispute the transaction.

Overall I would say avoid this firm at all costs

Good information on website made it easy to choose and order my film. I could also purchase a small amount at a fair price to test out my project before ordering more. The film arrived pretty quickly, well packaged, with very comprehensive instructions on how to apply it to the glass. All in all a very positive experience.

I am really happy with my purchase. Everything was easy. The film was priced reasonably, delivery is free and the tools and instruction video made this a piece of cake.

The finished product looks fab. You can't see into my bathroom from outside, which was the goal. I did the whole thing myself in one try and I am very impressed with myself right now.

I ordered Some White Frosted Window Film, the item arrived quickly and was straight forward to install, I’d recommend watching the training video on YouTube, it shows you all the information you need to fit the item, I would also recommend, having a second person on standby as it really takes two people to remove the liner. Very happy with the final result much cleaner than net curtains and looks more modern.

I ordered 20metres of film from Active Window Films. Good price, very prompt delivery and well packaged. However, I had ordered horizontal stripe film to cover my conservatory windows in 90cm wide. So when I opened the package, I expected to find 90 cm wide horizontal stripes, but instead, the lines ran vertically. I phoned and spoke to their customer services and it was truly one of the most frustrating conversations I have experienced. The person on the other end would simply not listen to my concern. She said that "Width" referred to the width of the roll and that this ran top to bottom and that the stripes were supplied vertically. We had a frustrating conversation where I explained that I had measured the width of my windows and that width generally refers to a measurement across something, not something running top to bottom. I also said that I did not have a problem with this IF it was explained clearly on the website. I and several friends have now looked and there is nothing that makes this clear. As we were getting nowhere, I asked if I could speak to someone else, but she wouldn't do this, so I asked if I could email instead and was directed back to the website. I emailed, stating that I wanted to return the product but do not want to pay return postage as I believe the product is not what I ordered. After 5 days I had no reply. So I emailed again and asked if someone could kindly respond. I then received a curt email (from the same person) saying "as I explained to you on the phone....". I felt like I was being told off! No reference was made to me asking to return it without paying return postage. As a result, I left a one-star review on the product page and another on their FB page. Both written very reasonably but saying that I was disappointed with their customer service...both have been deleted. Rather than deleting them, they could 1. Apologise for the poor customer service representation. 2. Amend their website to make it clear that width refers to the width of the roll, not the width of the window you are buying the film for. 3. Be brave and open...show other customers that you can deal with things. Don't delete negative comments without rectifying the concern, especially when the person writing them has good reason to complain.

Update: retailer refused to pay my return postage...and yet again I have received such an appealing email from their customer service agent, totally missing the point. All I ask is that they make the website clear. I can't believe they have all positive reviews (my experience tells me they have most likely deleted any less than favourable ones). My advice for anyone wanting window film is to go and find another company that cares about its cutomers. Shame on you, active window films
