I’m currently taking the Moho Magic: Rigging course, and it’s been a game-changer. Coming from a background in other animation tools, I was looking for a more professional, 'handy' control over my characters, and Dani Abram’s workflow delivers exactly that.
​The modules are clear, and the support from Adam and the community is fantastic. They even helped me with a flexible plan and early access so I could keep my momentum going. I took the Intro to Toon Boom course as I’m still fairly new to animation, and it’s an invaluable resource for beginners. The exercises are clear and purposeful, and build core animation skills and a strong understanding of Toon Boom’s technical side. Adam was always easy to reach and offered tailored feedback. The course also includes insights and resources that cant be found elsewhere, making it well worth the price. Doing the course has also provided me with some strong pieces for my portfolio.

Adam's Animation Academy has been fundamental in training me in Harmony Toon Boom so I can now deliver animation skills across several platforms. I have just finished the Moho Rigging Course with Dani. I am a total newbie not just to Moho but to Animation as well. The course was so well put together, each video building onto the next. There is also a project to follow along with. The Discord group is helpful, Dani is always in it helping with any questions. Adam himself is very quick to deal with any issues. Since this course I have purchase two further courses. I know with this I will achieve my dream of creating my own animations.

I completed Harriet Buckley’s course on Clean Up & Inbetweening at Adam’s Animation Academy, and got huge benefit out of it. Although I had previous experience in inking for print, the assignments and guidance helped me work at a much higher level. Harriet reviewed my exercises and gave really helpful feedback. I found the course rigorous, professional and inspirational. It also gets you started in the industry-standard TVPaint software, with resources for working more productively in the program. I’d fully recommend it to anyone interested in this field, and to existing professionals seeking to refresh their skills.

I learnt a huge amount software-wise and artistic-wise too.
It was a joy and challenge to work with Harriet's wonderful Sherlock Holmes character and her skill as an animator was an inspiration.
I only wish there were more opportunities to work on such projects these days but the direction seems to be more 3D or 2D digital puppet-driven content regretfully. It is heartening though that the demanding skills required for drawn 2D animation as taught in this course are being kept alive.

Dani is such an amazing teacher. I started in Moho a year ago and the Moho Magic course is everything I needed at the right time. I love how available Adam and Dani are on the discord channel and open and kind as people. Looking forward to future courses!

Dani is one of the most positive and practical teachers I have had.

Halfway through week two I understood masking in MOHO, and just a quarter of the way through week three, I felt for the first time I was starting to have a much better understanding on rigging and in MOHO in general. Just by looking at the screen I could differentiate between the bone binding types. I made mistakes, but now I knew how to correct them - it wasn't a case of “why is that not working?” I KNEW why and could correct what I had done wrong. It's an amazing course.

I recently finished the Moho rigging course (early bird) and the course as a whole was great. Dani covered a lot and at a good pace for those who are coming in as complete novices. If there are any questions you have or something in the video you're not getting, being able to talk to Adam, Dani, or anyone else in Discord to get help is invaluable. I love the sense of community with everyone, even from other courses. You can take the course at your own pace to work with your schedule which is really helpful. I will be looking to take more courses in future.

I've had the pleasure of attending two courses available through the academy (and soon a third). In neither did I ever doubt I was in the presence of a true master of animation, the only limiting factor my ability to take in information quickly enough! Both courses provided solid instruction, super valuable interactive feedback from the instructor, supportive peers, and some fun stories about working in animation as a career. Somewhere along the way I seem to have gotten better at making things on the screen move!

If you're serious about finding instruction that doesn't feel like you're wasting your time, you've just discovered a treasure map. Dig!

I originally signed up for Adam’s Foundations of Toon Boom intro course, but due to everything happening in the industry and my personal life, I had to postpone. Adam was incredibly gracious and allowed me to defer to a future session. Later, when I ultimately couldn’t attend for personal reasons, he kindly issued a full refund, no hassle, no stress.

Even though I didn’t end up taking the class, I can wholeheartedly recommend Adam. As an animator himself, he truly gets that animation isn’t just about the work, it’s about the people behind it. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely invested in their students’ overall well-being, and Adam is exactly that kind of teacher.

I recently completed the Toon Boom Animation level 1 course and it was a great experience overall. The essential knowledge to start learning and understanding the software / process of animation is clearly explained in each video. If you need assistance, commnuication and replies are swift and helpful. I have been taking this course along with my graduate job in the industry, this course has allowed me to build on my skills and apply them to my role. Thank you Adam!

Having done the six week course, I would highly recommend it. The environment is very casual and welcoming, the thought exercises give a good framework to think honestly about your personal project and a good first step forward.

Adam’s Animation Academy tutorials are very detailed, and run you through all the steps to either animate, or create a rig from scratch. When you take Adam’s courses, you can contact him whenever you have questions re animation or rigging, which is fantastic! I found Adam to be very generous and enthusiastic in sharing his expansive industry knowledge and expertise on Animating and rigging in Toon boom Harmony Premium.

I’ve learned a lot from all of the 6 classes I’ve taken from Adam’s Animation Academy. For example, in the Advanced Rigging course, Adam shows different ways to create a rig, and how to create custom Master Controllers to speed up your animating process. You learn to create an amazing 360 rig with multiple Master Controllers, including a 360 head controller with head looking up, normal view and looking down.

I would highly recommend taking a course with Adam’s Animation Academy. Adam’s courses are very informative, and an incredible value, compared to other Toon Boom Harmony training options.

I had an excellent experience learning Moho with Dani in Adams animation academy. The course was very well planned out and each step was explained clearly. Learning the software through this course definitely helped me get to grips with it and any problems I came across were easily solved with the help of the tutor being on call at all times. Excellent course. Highly recommend.

Great instructor and a well designed course. The instructor went in depth and really showed her process and how to use the tools of the program effectively in a real world scenario.

The course website was well laid out and easy to use. Course materials were easy to download and convenient to access on the site.
