Adelaide has poured her heart and experience into this

Adelaide has clearly poured her heart, soul and lived experience into her wonderful "Saying Goodbye the the Curated Version of Myself" workbook. It's a truly special thing that has encouraged me to reflect deeply on my own experiences being neurodivergent and how I have masked my true personality, skills and thoughts. It hasn't been an easy journey at times with ADHD, but Adelaide's workbook bridges the practical with thought. The content is educational and sometimes even a tad confronting, but in a way that is compassionate, validating and freeing. And can we just acknowledge the sensational colours and artwork throughout! I'm an adult male and honestly, the design is a breath of fresh air for me from the monotony of heavy text. This workbook brings a hefty and much-appreciated dose of FUN. The aesthetic combines perfectly with the energy of the messaging and exercises.

My first contact with Adelaide was at an ADHD conference where she gave a wonderful talk on personal brand and being oneself. There was a mantra that Adelaide gifted the audience -- “Consistent does not mean Constant” -- which has just stuck with me ever since. I think her message applies to her workbook too, because you don't need to use it 'Constantly' to get value from it. I work through no more than a page or two at a time, coming back to it when I need to. In doing so the workbook has 'Consistently' opened up for me profound moments of clarity and reassurance that I am enough. It's now a staple in my handpicked repertoire of "life anchors" and tools that I know I can depend on when I need them or if I feel myself reapplying my mask.

To Adelaide - thank you so much for meticulously and delicately crafting this special workbook. Simply, it's wonderful.

Good starting point for unmasking

I recently got an unmasking guidebook from Adelaide which is unlike anything I’ve come across before! I have never really taken the time to intentionally try to unmask or learn about myself, and this book is a great stepping stone to start with. I really like the way it’s formatted and designed too as someone who’s drawn to pretty things 😌

Guided workbook :)

I have been using the workbook for about a month now and I think I never realised how much I love being guided. I start so many note books that get abandoned because I don't know where to go with it, but I love the layout of this one. I do enjoy the combination of information but freedom to fill it out as well, I often forget how much I'm holding in my head until I get it out. I also love a challenge so that was really lovely - like taskmaster but for helping your brain.

It was just a nice moment for me to check in with myself each week.

I wanted to love this…

Ive followed since ur YouTube days….I was genuinely excited when I saw advocacy work for neurodivergents being expanded into books and resources. That kind of representation matters so much. Im honestly so disappointed..the site feels disorganized and rushed, and much of the written content reads templated and impersonal. It gives the impression that large portions if not all may have been mostly generated quickly using AI without significant personal depth. It seems very obvious. When content is presented as deeply personal heartfelt work, it should feel lived in, intentional, and carefully crafted for us. Right now, it feels more automated than embodied. With more thoughtful editing, clearer organization, and more authentic voice infused into the materials, this could become something meaningful. I wanted to love this but as it stands, it feels underdeveloped and not reflective of the depth this community deserves. These reviews seem like friends of friends and not the community that Im in with you. It’s a big no for me and has changed my view of you. You’ve lost a follower and supporter. It’s not just about the work, it’s feeling like I’m seeing this now that this isn’t authentic and maybe something you’re representing for money and fans. That’s kinda sick…sorry…I just can’t.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. I’m really sorry to hear that you feel disappointed by your experience.
Many of my resources are tailored and personalised to each individual, which involves a significant amount of time spent developing and refining materials and working together with the client to put together a product they love.

Regarding my other resource "The Unmasking Workbook" I spent significant time putting this together using not only my own lived experience, and knowledge but also using similar formats to that requested of me from previous neurodivergent clients.
I understand that not every format or style will resonate with everyone, and I do appreciate feedback.

If this review is based on a direct purchase or use of my services, I would welcome you to contact me so I can better understand your experience and take on any constructive feedback. If not, I would kindly ask that Trustpilot verifies customer use in line with their review guidelines, to ensure reviews accurately reflect genuine customer experiences.

Generic stuff you can get for free on…

Generic stuff you can get for free on the internet in better formats. Disappointed waste of momey

Reply - i have a counsellor now and took it to my counselling and they advised that your coaching certificqte level 1 is a gcse grade 1 or 2 or D,E,F and that isnt a real qyalification so i should carry on with a professional like cbt therqpy or counselling because they have a degree and proper volunteer placement experiencw with real clients before being allowed to treat paying clients. i have looked and i dont tgink you were sucessful as a coach so you made really expensive books for individuals that didnt end up paying because of the product and it being £100 or more. I tgought this would be a less expensove roite but it is so basic and my counsellor said 'lived experiwnce' is extremely unprofessional because it is your own bias and not encourqged cos its so bad for clients to have the coache push tgeir experience on clients because its dangerous and inappropriate to do tgis.
It made me feel like you lied about being fully qualified and experineced because you arent really, now i have been told about coachimg being unregulated with no proffessional body to protect clients who are beimg taken advantage of by not knowing the truth.
I hope that helps you understand why i am so dissappointed and angry i wasted my time and money.

Dare I say a staple?!

This book is an amazing dare I say staple to have as an autistic individual with ADHD. The bright colours and fun pages create a less intimidating, serious outlook that many books have, while also not creating a child only feeling that can be seen across many autism/ADHD tools.

Not only is this book useful when starting your unmasking journey, it is also amazing to have to make sure you’re not falling back into old ways of masking when you’ve been on that journey for a while.

10/10 would recommend!

This book on ADHD masking is bright, engaging, and full of really helpful information. The colourful design makes it easy to dip in and out, and the content is clear, validating, and informative. It helped me understand masking in a way that actually made sense. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone with ADHD or wanting to learn more.
