purchased a surestop remote switch , before arrival i emailed to say my own had started to work and that i would return apon arrival , so when arrived sent back with note explaining why.my own cost for royal mail ,cant find receite . adey asking for reciet number saying not reseved , getting no were with them . they got it back.

Technical help from Adey-Magnaclean customer service…

I called Adey customer service to help me with a technical problem and questions relating to my concerns with a Magnaclean Pro 2...They put me through to Colin Yerp who contacted me within 30 mins and was extremely helpful and friendly to talk with. Colin firstly introduced himself and explained his roll and job position with Adey...he then explained everything relating to my customers Magnaclean Pro 2 issues with regards to the Magnet technology, the outer sheath, expected performance etc and additional technical information i wasn't aware of, which has been invaluable and will certainly help me in the future when fitting and maintaining / servicing Magnaclean products for my customers. I have installed Adey - Magnaclean products for over 20 years now and most certainly will continue to do so.

Colins knowledge and expertise was able to resolve my issue immediately and has most certainly helped me better understand Adey-Magnaclean products going forward.

ADEY ATOM SC & FLUSHING ADAPTER

Review: Atom SC filter and flushing adapter for the MagnaCleanse MACK01 RapidFlush Kit.

I’ve been using my MagnaCleanse unit for about three years now and can honestly say that it’s been reliable and effective throughout. I’ve had no issues with its operation, and it’s proven to be a valuable tool for maintaining my heating systems. Recently, I had the opportunity to try out the brand-new ATOM SC filter along with the flushing adapter for my MagnaCleanse MACK01 RapidFlush Kit, and I was genuinely impressed by how well they performed.

The ATOM SC filter is a real gem. I was working in a very tight space under a boiler with only about 80mm of clearance between pipework fittings and this filter was absolutely perfect for the job Given the limited room and it only needing a 60mm cut out, I don’t believe any other Adey filter—or even similar products from other brands—would have fit or been flushed effectively with the filter manifold still in place. The size and design of the Atom SC make it an ideal solution for compact installations, especially when you have minimal space to work with.

The heating system I was working on only had four radiators, so this small, yet efficient filter was exactly what I needed. It did the job perfectly, and I was able to flush the system without any hassle.

Regarding concerns that I’ve read about others having issues with the removal of the push-fit connections, I haven’t experienced any such problems. When servicing filters, all units have come off easily. I believe this may be due to a simple but effective tip: I lightly grease the push-fit connectors and stems with petroleum jelly during installation. I also use this method for the blue seals on my MagnaCleanse units, and it seems to help ensure smooth removal when returning to service.

Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the performance of both the ATOM SC filter, adapter and the MagnaCleanse MACK01 RapidFlush Kit. They’ve proven to be reliable and effective, and I will definitely continue using Adey products for the foreseeable future. Highly recommended for anyone looking for space-saving, high-performance filtration solutions.

Adey Refuses to Honour 10 Year Guarantee For the Inherent and Complete Failure of Magnaclean Professional 2 Product

Adey claim their Magnaclean Professional 2 is a quality product however a common problem is that the canister won't detach from the valves. This may not be considered an issue as once installed, the canister can be emptied and the magnet and associated sleeve can be removed for cleaning.
There are installations though where it's not possible to remove these parts in situ due to limited space so the canister has to be physically detached from the valves to facilitate cleaning. It would also have to be detached if either of the valves needed replaced whether inoperative, stuck or leaking.
You may believe that this common issue, as experienced by myself and many others as reported on social media,that the canister cannot be detached from the valves would be covered by Adey's 10 year guarantee.Not so if you have not registered the product within 30 days of purchase.In that case,Adey advise you purchase the canister and valves as spare parts which,with VAT and delivery,exceed the cost of a whole new replacement unit.
In essence,the whole unit has to be replaced if the magnet can't be removed in situ or you need to replace either of the two valves.
The Professional 2 model was introduced to the market in 2017 so clearly my unit failed within the 10 year period.Despite Adey's acceptance of this,they are refusing to provide the spare parts under their 10 year guarantee as I hadn't registered the product within 30 days.So essentially Adey are company who acknowledge the failure of their product within the warranty period but refuse to honour the 10 year guarantee because of a minor administrative technicality.
I certainly won't be buying any of their products in future and will be replacing their completely inoperative cleaner with a Fernox TF1 which appear to have a good reputation for service and quality products.

The lady ( Possible AI "Parrot") great ambassador for not using Adey again!

The lady I just spoke to in Adey customer services, without a doubt, represented the antithesis of good customer relations.
With the developments of AI, Bots, etc, and her robust predisposition for maintaining a consistent unsympathetic, unhelpful and divisive approach to my request, I begged the question of whether I had actually spoken to a " Real Human" being.

I have been an installer of Adey products for many years and have found their products to offer good quality and performance. Most recently, I have been very impressed with the Adey Pro System checker.

Perhaps Adey could explain how staffing your call centre with such indifferent, parroting and "Gas Lighting" experts promotes your business model in a favourable light.

Suffice it to say I will not be buying any more Adey products. For the record, I was somewhat surprised to see that your business has such a poor rating score with Trust Pilot. I feel fortunate not to have had cause to feel differently earlier, considering the litany of other negative reviews.

Poor Quality Components

I purchased a Magnacleanse flushing unit about 2.5 years ago. In that time, I have had to replace the drain valve because it had an irreparable leak. Now, one of the blue washers on the magnetic unit has started leaking. I contacted Adey and was told that I have to purchase a new washer! I am totally disgusted that components within the unit are of such poor quality. I install a lot of Adey filters and as a 30+ year heating professional, I am deeply concerned by the unreliability of the product. The unit has 4 washers that would cost approximately £50 to replace them all!!! The entire unit cost £300! I won’t be purchasing another Magnacleanse unit again.
