They made it right...
My first part arrived damaged due to shipping. The team at Advanced Truck Parts was responsive at first and sent a replacement once they received the damaged part. Naturally this process took some time.
Unfortunately, after receiving the second part, we realized the part was incorrect—an oversight on my end. I contacted Advanced Truck Parts again, hoping to exchange it for the correct part. Their answer was surprisingly “no.” They informed me their return policy is only valid for 30 days, even though the delay in resolving the damaged shipment contributed to that timeline.
So now I’m stuck with a perfectly good, brand-new part that cost over $1,000, and they still refused an exchange even when I offered to cover all shipping costs. Their final response was simply that “the boss said no.”
Overall, extremely disappointing customer service and zero willingness to work with a customer on a reasonable solution.
Update 3/17/26
Tony with Advanced Truck Parts reached out to me to mend the situation after posting my original review. They offered to accept the return with a 20% restock fee which is understandable, they also paid the shipping. Thank you for working with me and mending the situation.
