Received vest from American Eagle at…
Received vest from American Eagle at Christmas. Decided to return had receipt for purchase but tag was not on vest. BEWARE American Eagle does not take returns without tag on clothing. I have NEVER been refused a return when I had the cash register receipt. Evidently this is a policy of American Eagle but it is actually just poor customer service and another way to rip off the customer.

Thoroughly unhelpful customer service that is unwilling to help you reach a solution. It’s a shame because I liked their products but I will spend my money elsewhere.
Terrible customer service
Truly the worst customer service ever. Firstly, when placing my order I received an error message on their site that there was a technical issue with the website and it hadn’t been processed so I needed to try again. However, the order went through twice, so there was actually no technical error with the first one, and I received two emails saying I had ordered the same product twice! I contacted customer service immediately but they said they couldn’t cancel one of them but I would need to return it when I receive it, despite it being their fault. Not only that but they couldn’t give me assurance that I could return the duplicate order for free but instead I would have to reject it from the carrier- but what if I am not at home when it is delivered?!
Secondly I placed my order on 24 June, and was advised delivery is 5-8 working days, with a note that on rare occasions there may be 1 extra day requrired for processing. This makes 9 days maximum. The parcels have not been received. Edit: After chasing them, over 3 weeks have now past since placing my order and I have now received two emails saying that both orders have been lost by their logistics company and I have to wait a further 7 days for a refund to be processed if the packages are not located within the next week. I would definitely never buy from them again or recommend this company to anyone else! Absolutely awful service in every respect.

I was so excited to find that AE now has women's underwear. I have always bought Victoria's Secret and wanted to make a change. Unfortunately every pair of Aeri undies I bought has fallen apart or has holes after only about 2 months. VC undies last years!! Very disappointed!
quality has massively decreased
I have bought all my underwear from them for years and they are so comfortable. However in the last few years the quality has gone way down. Underwear that I bought from them five years ago has held up until now, while underwear I bought only one year ago has the elastic coming apart, holes in the fabric, etc. I would rather pay a little more for better quality that will last longer.

Without fail, each time I reach out to AE for customer support the issue has been dealt with quickly. The support staff is competent and friendly. This has been the store that has given me hope after having so many poor experiences with other stores. Online and in person, I’ve never made a purchase and had any negative experience. This makes me so happy!

Aerie recently sent me a wrong sized item and when I tried to return or get a refund, and was unable to do so. They use DHL courier services for returns, of which they are no drop offs in my local metro area and I couldn’t schedule a pick up because of aeries system. I tried to contact customer service multiple times on multiple email contacts and they didn’t respond.
Shame, I typically like their stuff but their customer service and fraudulent claims of returning items means I won’t buy from them again.
First time ordering from this company
First time ordering from this company. Was looking for some gifts and a couple items for myself.
Have to say support was awesome when I inquired on a couple items and had questions. Also got the items super quickly even though it was a holiday shipping time. Faster than many items I purchased!
Quality is better than I had thought it might be considering the prices, which was a great surprise. Bought some combos for pajamas as gifts and would purchase again.

I ordered jeans 7 weeks (19th Nov) ago for Xmas presents. Delivery due 3 days later. It's now the 4th January and nothing has arrived. Worse still I have to deal with eshopworld their delivery partner. I have sent 6 emails to eshopworld and had one response to my first email which said on the 13th Dec they'd contact their delivery partner and get back to me. Well that was a lie and they have ignored evry email since. I have shopped with AE for years but this will be the last time and I would tell others to be very wary as I am far from being the exception

I work in Customer Service so I know the proper things you're to do and how to treat a customer and I have to say This Company goes above and beyond to assure they not only solve your problem,( which mine was a 3rd party company they'd used for shipping) but they are extremely kind in doing so. I've been shopping with this company for not just years but decades, as I started when my kids were teens & they're all grown with families of their own. Whi says you've got to be "Young" to Love American Eagle Clothes! I'll never wear "Mom Jeans etc" AE is the best, even a 53 year old Mom & Grandma can Rock an American Eagle Outfit anytime! 🤣 It'd be great if they used women of my age to model their clothes as well because a great product can look fabulous no matter the age! Great customer service
I had a great customer service experience that I just wanted to share. I asked about a package that took awhile to ship, they refunded not just my money right away but the $5 Real Rewards credit that I had spent on it and gave me a coupon. I shop at this company all the time and this was my only issue with them, which they immediately resolved.
Horrible customer experience with aerie…
Horrible customer experience with aerie live chat. I made an order on accident as I was changing the address for shipping. I didn’t even select the right Payment method as I was trying to use a gift card and it defaulted to my credit card. I immediately told the agent to cancel my order so I could fix my address and change my payment method and they said they couldn’t do anything about it. Now my order is going to my old address, in a different city, and I am going to have to go through a hazzle trying to get my money back. Aerie needs to improve their customer service. Please look into Talkdesk or something.
No more old school boybriefs
Stopped making their most popular, flagship boybrief undies. 1. Why????? 2. When I emailed costumer service and asked if they were ever coming back, the rep told me they didn't see the product I was referencing online and to keep checking the website for my size. K.
They have since brought them back but only in a 3 pack and reading reviews the material is thin and I can see them falling apart after a few washes. Won't be purchasing ANYTHING from here anytime soon.
Love AE, hate the customer service
Spoke to Autumn over chat who was very rude. She didn't know what to do so she told me to call an agent on the phone instead. Got on the phone with someone named Rob who, like Autumn, acted extremely bothered and condescending. Both interactions took an hour of my time for an issue that was not my fault. I basically received a pair of leggings that were drenched in an unknown liquid. I had to waste my time with customer service who were so inefficient and I had to send it back with special instructions. A very disappointing experience.
Deceptive sizing
I really like a lot of their products but their bathing suit tops run deceptively small. I even followed the size chart but the top I ordered is so small it’s uncomfortable and the least supportive thing I have owned (not the first time this has happened with them). I can’t believe they said people with a larger bra size could also fit into this because I am being squeezed out of every side just due to the lack of fabric. Very misleading
Miserabler Kundenservice
Die Produkte sind an sich schön und die Verarbeitung okay, aber der Kundenservice ist miserabel.
Laut Website war die Hose in meiner gewünschten Größe verfügbar. Die Bestellung lief ganz normal. Dann kam das Paket ohne Hose. Ich schreibe eine E-Mail.... Das ist übrigens nicht so leicht. Auf der Website kommt „404: Not found“, wenn man auf kontaktieren klickt. Schließlich habe ich aber eine Mailadresse gefunden.
Irgendwann kommt die Nachricht, dass der Artikel storniert wurde – angeblich nicht mehr vorhanden. Laut Website aber noch vorhanden und bestellbar. Nach einigen Tagen bekomme ich das Geld zurück. Der Kundenservice geht aber kein bisschen auf meine Mails ein. Ich habe mir explizit Hilfe gewünscht, da ich das passende Oberteil zur Hose erhalten habe und unbedingt die dazugehörige Hose wollte.
Ich vermutete, dass es nur ein Missverständnis war und bestellte mehrere Tage später noch einmal die Hose. Scheinbar war sie ja doch nicht ausverkauft oder wieder vorrätig. Gleiches Spiel noch einmal...
Ich habe das Geld wieder, aber immer noch nicht die Hose passend zum Oberteil. Und der Kundenservice schickt ausschließlich standardisierte Antworten.
Die Hose ist laut Website immer noch vorhanden, aber ich habe keine Lust das gleiche noch einmal durchzukauen.

I love their price and their collection. It goes on sale often and you can get nice clothes for a fair price. So far I'm very pleased with all the pieces I got.
Their policy are nice, and their customer service are very nice and answers questions promptly whenever I need help!
A lifesaver brand!
I used to struggle finding bra’s that fit for the longest time- atleast until i found aerie. I have the aerie sunnie bra in every color because its the only one that fits me. The quality is spectacular, even in other products such as their leggings. Im definitely glad I found this brand and urge everyone to try their products.
