This is a scammer attempting to solicit payment in exchange for changing a negative review to a positive one, and we are not able to pay for that.

This review is part of an ongoing pattern where scammers attempt to pressure businesses into paying them in exchange for replacing their negative reviews with positive ones. We take situations like this very seriously.

For anyone reading this, we encourage you to click on the reviewer’s profile and review the other feedback they have posted. In many cases, it becomes clear that this is not a genuine customer experience, but part of a broader pattern targeting multiple businesses.

We are actively working with Trustpilot to have these reviews removed. This process does take time. Each review must first be flagged and reviewed, then escalated for review ransom investigation. We are required to provide supporting evidence, including messages where payment is being demanded in exchange for altering reviews. We would also welcome the ability to publicly share screenshots of these communications so readers can clearly see the nature of these demands.

In previous instances, most of these fraudulent reviews have been removed and the accounts involved have been deactivated. Unfortunately, these individuals often create new accounts using different emails and tools to hide their identity and continue targeting small shops like ours.

As mentioned in our previous responses, our company is currently dealing with a coordinated review extortion attempt. After refusing to pay individuals who contacted us demanding money to remove negative reviews, additional reviews began appearing from accounts that do not correspond to any verified customer orders in our system.

Both the reviews themselves and the emails sent to us requesting payment are written in broken English. These individuals are using VPN services and anonymous accounts, but the activity appears to originate from international sources rather than legitimate customers. The same accounts also appear to be posting similar reviews across many unrelated businesses as part of the same scheme.

We have reported this activity to Trustpilot and are fully cooperating with their team while the investigation is ongoing.
