St Moritz and Italian Lakes
Tour Guide, Chiara, was excellent. Always had good suggestions for our free time. St. Moritz and the Italian lake district were beautiful. Enjoyed connecting with more Hood College alums than typically have been on previous trips.

Basically everything. Activities were well planned, and spaced out. We did reverse the order of 2 destinations one day, still no problems created. The hotel was in a beautiful location, the planned trips were v. good, a few excellent (winery, olive farm, cooking class). Guides were experienced & knowledgeable. Looking forward to see what AHI has in the future!

Everything was well organized and we enjoyed the itinerary for each day. Our travel coordinator was excellent and provided useful information and answered any questions we had during our trip. The food and food choices were also very good.

Our guide.was wonderful but the travel…
Our guide.was wonderful but the travel part of the trip was awful. We were not given enough time with the lay overs and had to experience the EES nightmare in Frankfurt. I had asked multiple times if we needed to prepare for the RES system and you told me it was not operating until fall. Had a 2 he wait in the line. Will not travel this way ever again. Had to run to the gate as they were closing and beg them to let us on. Very frustrating both ways.

Airports throughout the Schengen Zone are doing their best to implement the new Entry/Exit System (EES), which requires non-Schengen travelers to provide fingerprints and have a photo taken at Passport Control. We do understand your confusion, however, as the EES system often is mistaken for the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS), which is anticipated to go into effect in late 2026 and will require an online application and fee prior to travel. Even with the potential for long lines at Passport Control, over three hours of connecting time is usually more than sufficient at the Frankfurt airport. As the next flight to Naples after your ticketed flight did not depart for an additional four hours, we felt confident in directing you to a flight schedule with a three-hour layover. We were sorry to hear that you had to rush to catch your ongoing connection but are glad that you ultimately were able to fly as booked. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you on another enriching AHI Travel journey soon!
Our trip (to Amalfi Coast) was among our best-ever vacations.
Our trip (to Amalfi Coast) was just incredible and we had a wonderful time. While we truly enjoyed the selected hotel (Hotel Raito), the tours, the dining, and made several new friends among the tour group the "stars" of the week were Manu (our tour leader) and Mario (our bus driver) who took such excellent care of us the whole time. Manu in particular was on top of everything, very knowledgeable, super-enthusiastic, and alot of fun. My wife and I just relaxed and enjoyed everything, knowing that Manu was well in charge of getting us where we needed to be, and making everything smooth.

Overall a very positive experience
Overall a very positive experience. The location was stunning. Highlights were our exceptional tour guide Emmanuel Aprea, beautiful hotel, and well-planned, interesting excursions. Adding a free day in the middle of the trip would be nice addition.
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the flight reservations made by AHI. Having to depart from the hotel at 3am was rough, getting home 20 hours later was even rougher.

The trip was so well planned - down to the last detail. If was both educational and fun! Our guide, Manu, was fabulous. He took great care of us and was always enthusiastic. You could really tell he loves what he's doing.

Excellent adventure

Unforgettable trip
All arrangements worked. Accommodations were very nice. Tour guides were personable and informative. Fred Burke was delightful, and kept us on schedule, courteously. The sights visited were memorable. All in all, and unforgettable trip.

The best way to go on vacation!
The kind and supporting attitude of everyone, made everything (except the 102 degree heat) wonderful. There was always delicious food, places to go and things to do. We had so much fun!

More focus on DDay. Three day
Castle was waste
The balance in Paris. Two days to include Saturday and Friday.
Fred left dinner and never requested questions
DDay tour guide was hard to understand and enrichment presentation was required
They handles our return flight poorly.
Positive. The people we met was the highlight
First day, a small two hour walk in the town, could have been done in the evening with a dinner workers. Fred just talked eating places.
Prefer to stay where they stocked the frig

Water was not cold on the bus.

We have found that most of our travelers like a balance between planned excursions and free time for independent exploration. Your trip featured three full-day excursions, including one day dedicated to D-Day (plus an additional morning excursion and enrichment lecture focused on D-Day and World War II); two half-day excursions; and a free day. Like yourself, many travelers on this program enjoy the in-depth D-Day excursions and enrichment, which is complemented by other excursions designed to showcase the breadth of Norman culture.
We appreciate your feedback and will share your comments about the accommodations, itinerary and adding two days in Paris to the program with our travel planning team.
The pace of the trtip was perfect
The pace of the trtip was perfect. We did excursions in the mornings and would have free time during the afternoon and evening for what interest each person. Guides were excellent! Would recommend AHI to anyone. I particularly like the trips without a solo/single supplements. Would like to travel with AHI again.
