Picked up custom Ronin titanium gravel bike. Very pleased with the whole experience. The fitting process worked really well. bike fits me perfectly. Did end up raising the saddle about 1/2". During the build process Alchemy provided appropriate updates. Extremely happy with the bike. Matches my expectations and is a joy to ride. Have put a little over three hundred miles on the bike and except for being a little dirty it is still good as new. I would recommend Alchemy to anyone looking for a new bike.

I love the bike. It has phenomenal performance and components at a great price. It has excellent cancellation with pedal-bob with the SINE Suspension System, extreme versatility with its different suspension kits, and overall, just an amazing performing and looking machine.

Beautiful bikes!! Received mine in September of 2023, came very well packed. I was very impressed with the Alchemy right out of the box, but out on the trail, I could not believe how awesome it was. Perfect free ride bike, but also climbs, very well!

Customer service is lacking....entitled attitude toward legit questions.....at the end of the day the products are nothing special...frames and bike components are produced in China...their job it simply to ship and make it easy for the customer to buy and they suck at that. Going to go back to Yeti.....they get customer service and are on you like a spider monkey when you need help.

The bike is absolutely amazing, and Alchemy made the purchase process as smooth as can be.

The Arktos 150 inspires a lot of confidence. My two finalists were a Pivot Firebird and this. I was extremely comfortable on steep descents with my Pivot Mach 5.5, but the Arktos description of it being more lively sold it for me. The geometry was just bigger, longer and more slack than my 5.5, and tackled steep lines with drops with ease. One of my first days on it, I ended up over the nose on a tight 6' drop. There is no doubt I would have gone over the bars on my 5.5, but with the Arktos I somehow managed to ride it out. It's a beast, and super fun, on technical descents.
My only issues, and why I didn't give it five stars are as follows: 1) It came from the factory with a small paint chip on the top tube and was slightly out-of-tune. A few minor adjustments regarding cable tension and the front chain guide was able to mostly fix it. 2) The tires are horrible Maxxis Exo (Maxxis is horrible period), the seat is basic, and the grips are ok. I swapped out the tires to Continental Kryptotals (night and day), the seat to a WTB volt, and the grips to DMR death grips.
Lastly, it's not light. But it really wasn't sold as such, so it's not fair for me to ding it for that. It's a decent climber, but not quite as good as I hoped. I could swap out everything else for carbon and xtr for $2500 just to shave a pound, but it's not worth it. The i9 wheelset is amazing, and the xt components are bomber and tried and true. If you're looking for an enduro machine that looks and feels very well-built and instills a ton of confidence at speed on steeps, and you don't mind a little extra effort on the climbs, you can't go wrong.

The Alchemy Lycos is probably the best gravel bike I have ever ridden. It felt very comfortable from the first moment I got on it with its light and nimble handling. Out of the box you can see the build quality is outstanding. The gears and brakes aligned perfectly and assembly was a breeze. The bike comes tubeless so all you need to do is inflate the tires to your desired pressure. I ordered the Lycos with SRAM Red which functions flawlessly. The wireless shifting, controlled with the separate left and right shifters, is fast, reliable, and easily managed (and customizable) using the AXS app. Also, the hydraulic brakes have a very confident amount of power balanced with easily controllable variation. With only a 1X setup, the front chain ring is matched with a wide-range cassette to best manage a variety of terrains, speed, and pedaling effort. There are countless other gravel bikes on the market, but for me, this was the best option. I have NO regrets purchasing the Lycos and highly recommend this stand-out superbly crafted gravel bike for anyone in the market. Make sure you reach out to the Alchemy team and they will put you on the right bike set up exactly as you want it to be. You will not regret it!

The bike was set up and ready for "me" right out of the box. I just attached the handlebars and I now have over 900 miles on it. I changed the derailleur out for the AXS electronic shifter, but that was always the plan. The Sram brakes were junk. Switched to Hayes Dominion A4's and love them. Also Switched tires to Maxxis Rekon. Much faster. Just recently put PNW carbon handlebar with larger diameter grips. My on real comolaint is the squeaking. I get one solid ride without squeaking after cleaning, then the noise comes back. Great bike!!

Was very fast and prompt with their responses with my bike issues. Bryce was professional in keeping communication and resolving my problems.

The Good: Bought an Arktos 150, and it is a total beast! it is exactly what I needed for rougher trails (transitioning from hard tails I have been riding for a decade). This thing floats right over bumps and drops like the dirt bikes I also ride.

The Bad: I had to take a star away for a couple of things here for one the hub spacing on the front fork was incorrect and needed a spacer. If the forks were not pre loaded together the axel would not fully engage the clamp (it was about halfway in) also turns out if I didn't preload the forks together the brake disc could (and unfortunately did) eat the brake caliper mounting. it didn't break anything but did scratch up the brake disc, and mill some paint and metal off the fork. Fortunately, I have a buddy with a lathe and we custom fabricated a spacer bushing for it that got it fixed. This second one is more minor, but when I converted to tubeless, I discovered the rims weren't taped properly and had air bleeding out through half a dozen spokes on both wheels. Again got it fixed but still a little disappointing it wasn't right the first time.

Bottom line, don't get me wrong the bike is fantastic, but would appreciate a little better quality control from a premium brand.

My Alchemy Bikes experience was extraordinary. I needed to get a suspension switch kit in preparation for a bike park trip and Alchemy made it happen.

Great communication with the staff at Alchemy. Bike arrived and I was blown away. Fit and finish is flawless. I get tons of compliments every time I ride. This is my dream bicycle. Couldn’t be happier… unless I had two of them.
