I’ve been using Allermi for about 9…
I’ve been using Allermi for about 9 months and after trying every allergy med available, this one has changed my life. I use it twice daily as prescribed, although I use Navage instead of the provided saline. My sinuses have never been this clear, my sinus pressure is gone too. I’m exceedingly happy that I found this product. As a side note, I saw my ENT and told him I switched to Allermi and he said although he doesn’t prescribe Allermi, his partners do, and he stated it’s a great product. Basically all the meds are available separately but getting these in one specific dose, one squirt each nostril morning/evening, life changing.

Allermi has been easy to work with…
Allermi has been easy to work with since I started June 2024. The website has been easy to navigate. From updating shipping dates/delays, messaging my care team, doing my annual check in, and updating billing info. Regarding my nasal spray, it has been great. The introductory videos and the “bunny method” have worked well. I can breathe better at night, which has allowed me to start mouth taping, preventing dry mouth and reduced my snoring.

Honestly Allermi saved my life
Honestly Allermi saved my life. I've had swollen turbinates ever since covid 5 years ago and the congestion would always hit right as I was going to bed and I would start having a panic attack every night knowing I was about to get congested. I am a yoga instructor and I've taught myself to get through panic attacks with breathing and I couldn't breathe so I was just absolutely miserable. I had scheduled a turbinate reduction but I was so scared to go through with it because I've been warned about empty nose syndrome. Then I found Allermi. I had seen it advertised for months in my Facebook feed but I was too scared to try it until I couldn't take it anymore and started using it daily and I've been using it for over a year now and I still only need to use one spray twice a day unless I get sick and then I need 3 sprays a day but I know it's not addictive because after I get over the cold or flu or whatever I can easily go back to using it just twice a day. I can breathe again thanks to Allermi. I can sleep again thanks to Allermi. I no longer have nightly panic attacks thanks to Allermi. So thank you Allermi. Please don't ever go out of business! I recommend this stuff all the time in my online support groups in hopes it will help others as much as it helped me!

Life changing product for seasonal allergies
I started Allermi in January (5 months ago), after a recommendation from a friend. I have struggled with seasonal allergies my entire life, and have even tried allergy shots. I usually have to take Zyrtec every day for my Spring allergies, but this season, after taking Allermi, I have zero allergy symptoms. Not even sneezing, itchy, eyes, or fatigue. A truly life changing product!

I've had allergies as long as I can remember and I've tried everything - from weekly shots, daily pills, prescription routines, etc. Allermi has so far cured me of my allergies - every year I would lose a week in the spring and a week in the fall where I was unable to function. Try this product!!!

Unaccessible! Don’t recommend at all!
Despite repeated notifications from me they went ahead and sent me a -$50 package of nasal spray that I can’t use. Didn’t even open it. Will send back if possible. UNOPENED! Extremely limited to no contact info available on their website. Unacceptable for a medical provider! Now I’m in the position of having to dispute CC charges! It shouldn’t be this difficult to terminate a 1st time medical relationship!

When the free 5-day sample was selected, the auto-refill option was also chosen, which is why a full-size order was processed. That said, your subscription has now been canceled, and no further charges will occur.
Because Allermi is a custom formulation, we’re often able to adjust the formula to better address symptoms or side effects. If you’re open to it, we’d be happy to work with you to find a better fit.

Ordered the 5-day sample
Ordered the 5-day sample. It never arrived. I received an email stating my next order would be processed soon, I immediately emailed them and informed them I wanted to try the product before I decide if I stay on the subscription, but the trial package had not arrived. They said to go ask neighbors if it maybe was delivered to the wrong house - then the next day they charged me and shipped the new order even though they knew I didn't receive the 5-day trial. DECEPTIVE! On top of that, even though I have proof in email with timestamp that I informed them of the 5-day trial not arriving prior to the new order being shipped, they are giving me the standard 'you signed up for a subscription that is not refundable if you didn't cancel within 5 days of the sample being delivered.' & the kicker tried to convince me 'its illegal for us to give you a refund once we ship your meds'. Yeah, well I never received the 5-day trial which the 30-day subscription was contingent on, so we have no contract, and you were informed of that, and still didn't want to help fix the situation. So for $45 you made sure I will never shop with you again and will strongly advocate against anyone else doing business with shady company like you. PayPal refunded me the $45 within 10 minutes of me forwarding the email documentation with dates/times - so what did you really accomplish?

Didn't work
I tried Allermi’s 5-day sample (paid $4.90 shipping charge), but it didn’t work for me and actually worsened my condition. The price is also very high.
And then even though I notified them to cancel before shipping, they shipped the product anyway and charged $49.90. Now I’m left with a $49.90 medication that I won’t use.

When you signed up for the free 5-day sample, the selection included enrollment in an auto-refill subscription, which is disclosed during checkout. This means a full-size order is automatically processed after the sample period unless the subscription is canceled beforehand.
Our records show that the cancellation request was received after the full-size order had already processed. Per our policy, orders that have entered processing cannot be canceled or refunded, which is why the shipment was sent and the charge applied.

We are so sorry to hear of your recent diagnosis of a nasal septal perforation. Nasal septal perforation due to nasal spray use is exceedingly rare and almost always results from long-term nasal trauma or improper spray technique—especially when combined with other risk factors, such as a history of intranasal drug use, severe untreated chronic inflammation, prior nasal trauma or surgery, or improper spray technique.
Septal perforation due to Allermi use in patients without significant predisposing risk factors, using our formulation, delivery method and proper recommended technique is highly improbable.
Septal perforation was an occasional side effect noted with very early corticosteroid nasal sprays, primarily from the 1980s, that were considerably more caustic to the nasal lining, were formulated in an irritating and over-drying alcohol-based solvent and alcohol-based preservative solution, and were delivered to the nasal passages in high-velocity aerosolized form from dispensers that could easily and readily direct their aerosol jet to the septum, which is comprised of cartilage. These nasal sprays are no longer available.
In contrast, Allermi uses an alcohol-free, aqueous formulation in a bottle that delivers a gentle, broad spray-mist. Our active ingredients are carefully titrated and micro-dosed to prevent irritative side-effects to the nasal lining (including oxymetazoline, which is an intranasal decongestant that we strictly use in micro-dosages). When used correctly (not angled towards the septum) and as prescribed (not overused), the chance of developing a nasal septal perforation with any of the ingredients in Allermi is extremely unlikely.
As with any nasal spray, proper spray technique is crucial. The bottle should be shaken well before use, then, in the nose-to-toes position, the nozzle should be inserted as deeply as comfortable and pointed straight back into the nostril, towards the eye—not angled inward toward the septum. All of these steps help avoid contact with the nasal septum and ensure the medication is delivered safely and effectively. The method of directing the nozzle away from the septum is the clinically-accepted method of preventing irritation to the septum with nasal spray use.
If you have been diagnosed with a nasal septal perforation or if one is suspected, we ask our patients discontinue use and be evaluated by an ENT specialist. Since nasal sprays can irritate a pre-existing septal perforation, we require ENT clearance to use Allermi in any patient with a pre-existing nasal septal perforation.
Product works well, Business model does not.
Product works well, however it has a fairly short expiration date. I bring this up because Allermi ships using the slowest possible speed USPS offers and it takes over a week for the product to arrive. By the time it arrives, I have about 3 weeks until the “best by” date and even with automatic shipments, there are several days I ended up going without product due to the slow shipping speed. Last month, I asked that my shipment be cancelled (two days prior to it being shipped) and was told that pharmacy regulations prohibit this. This is simply not true and if it’s THEIR policy that’s fine, but say that. I am a pharmacist, and I’m fully aware that a pharmacy cannot take back medication that has been dispensed and sold/shipped to a customer, but again, I was requesting cancellation on 11/30. My order was not processed and shipped until 12/3 and as of today, still has not arrived. That’s 10 days from the time I was charged for the order itself.
Nasal sprays are fairly cheap to buy in store and this service is mostly one of convenience(less bottles, shipped to home), but nothing about the process is convenient. I’ve gone back to using two separate sprays and I don’t have to wait 10 days for them to arrive.
