We took our first step by launching in summer of 2021 and creating this online shop for you to start discovering and drinking delicious drinks. We always let DHL know if there is any delivery information requested and in our experience they have been diligent to follow it. Disappointed first order
I am very happy with the quality of the whisky I bought. The service was good, the price was good, delivery was prompt and there was a free gift in the package. All ingredients for a 5 star review. However there were 2 problems - when I first found this site on google the header said 10 percent off all first orders but when I put in the code for the first order discount it told me it doesn’t apply to sale items. On closer inspection this is stated in the terms and conditions so fair enough. But the google header said the discount was on ALL first orders.
The second problem was that the picture of the product on the website shows it comes in a presentation box. I had bought 2 bottles, one was for a gift. The bottles received were not boxed and so were not suitable as a gift. I have had to rebuy this from elsewhere to get it in the presentation box. The site should make it very clear that items will be unboxed. The terms and conditions which do say items may not be delivered exactly as shown are insufficient to inform the consumer in this regard.
All told because I have had to repurchase half of my order I cannot rate the site higher than 2 stars.
Additional comments following response from all things drinks -
I was impressed to receive a personal response from one of the companies directors. I felt my concerns were being treated seriously and that the company were genuinely concerned that they had a disappointed customer. I was assured some changes would be made and was offered a refund on one bottle of whisky as compensation, and this has been refunded to my account. I would now purchase again from this company and would recommend them to other purchasers

We would also like to reply to you here, all first order do get discount - either the products are discounted or you can use a code. In your case the whisky was discounted by 10% already which is why the code did not work. If the whisky was full price, you would have been able to use the code and receive the discount. Regarding the gift box, as we mentioned on the email, this was the mistake from our supplier and we are happy to give you the refund as promised. We completely understand your issues and hope to resolve it as soon as we hear from you.

The service was great
The service was great - faster than expected, packed in unusual bottle holders that I will re-use when giving bottles as presents. Nice surprise to receive a free can of (very good) non alcoholic lager. But the wine I ordered unfortunately fell short of expectations having read reviews. As a regular full bodied red wine drinker I found the wine to be thin and weak and not at all like an alcoholic red wine.
