This company is a scam

This company is a scam. Do not fall for it. I got fooled by the fact it was added on a review online as one of the best led mask. I bought it, and it was never delivered. A shipping company send an email stating it was delivered but it was not true, as I said a scam. I send an email to aLura and they initially replayed that will look at this, but then complete disappeared. I lost 800 dolars which is a lot of money. Trying to get the bank cancel the payment, but not sure I will get my money back.
This information should be spread as companies like this think they can steal people money and get away with it.

Mask is rigid

Mask is rigid. The bridge of my nose is bruised. It will only fit a small group of people. Customer service (I use the term loosely) will not accept a return because I used the mask once! They say they don’t accept returns, yet 2 long black hairs (I’m blonde) were stuck on the inside of this mask. They accepted a return from someone!! I’ve never written a negative review but I just couldn’t let this product and subsequent non-existent customer service experience go! DO NOT PURCHASE!

Mask is heavy and uncomfortable to wear...after a few days the supportive elastic band broke! Bad quality!!

On the positive side the customer service responded and quickly refunded the cost

Avoid ordering from this company

Avoid ordering from this company. They’re unresponsive, and their customer support line doesn’t even work. I tried canceling my order just minutes after placing it—no reply—and they went ahead and processed it anyway. Poor service and a big red flag in how they treat their customers.

Read before you buy

These masks are generic masks flogged as a brand that does not exist - please do not make the same mistake as I did. The retailer did give me a refund after I put a dispute in with my bank - you can buy this mask for $100 on Ali etc.

Do not order from this merchant

Do not order from this merchant. I put an order through and cancelled within a few hours. It had not shipped out yet I saw in the tracking they have the product yet they have not refunded me. It was $1200 Canadian. I have emailed and called MULTIPLE times and no response. I am now dealing with my credit card provider who will deal with this merchant via dispute on violating laws regarding this.

SCAM - Warning others of their defective product

After using it for six months, it stopped working. I contacted their customer service team and sent a video demonstrating the issue. It took a week to receive a response every single time, which is unacceptable.

After emailing three times and navigating your website going through their contact us, I finally received a reply stating that a refund is not possible. With the product under warranty it is refundable. Given your inadequate communication, this was not surprising. I requested a replacement mask instead, which they said is to deliver within 7-10 days. Unfortunately, to no surpriseit did not come.

When I followed up, I was provided with a fake tracking number. It has now been over a month and a half with no resolution.

This experience has led me to believe that your website and company are scams. I will continue to share my experience to warn others about your business practices.

Uncomfortable to wear and very heavy.

Very uncomfortable to wear and heavy on the face especially with the neck piece on. I feel I cannot breathe comfortably wearing the mask & neck piece together. I contacted Aluralight twice to action a return, but didn't get a reply until 2 weeks later. I now got refunded after their delayed response.

The product I received has 807 LEDs

The product I received has 807 globes. It was shipped directly from China. The product I received is the same product that retails for around $150 to $200 AUD (widely available on AliExpress).

I immediately lodged a dispute with my bank (CBA) and Mastercard as receiving a different product is covered under their buyer protection policy.

In all communication with AluraLight, I reiterated that the product is not according to the specifications on their website. Their value proposition is 1070 LEDs!

After 4 unsuccessful attempts at contacting AluraLight, on the 5th email they processed a refund and I did not have to return the substitute mask. In fairness to AluraLight, they processed the refund before CBA processed my dispute; and I was able to keep the dodgy mask.

The good news. I got my money back. The bad news. I felt really silly in not exercising better due diligence. Great that you are here, reading this. Well done!

Lesson learned: Email the company lots of questions before you commit to buy. Ask the company to send you a photo of the box that the product is in. Then Google Lens the box so you can find similar items on the web.

I bought the Aluralight face mask , it exceeded my expectations

Excellent face mask, the results are tangible, visiually there is obvious tightening of the skin and you can feel it too after each session.
The results are Exponentially far better than the Dermalux flex and Cleopatra, I bought the former for my mother and my partner has the latter. I've tried both
The enhanced performance is probably due to the 1070 led's v 360 for the flex and 190 for the Cleopatra.
Excellent build quality, super easy to use and touch sensitive. If you want the performance of a Mercedes don't buy a Lada, this machine works and is worthy of the higher price tag ( although not as exorbitantly expensive as the Dermalux)
Incidentally I bought the Aluralight face mask having read reviews by Kathryn Shaffer of the school of dermatology on this face mask and others.

After making contact with the company…

After making contact with the company about the mask being uncomfortable to wear they gave me a few tricks to try, i went away had another go, 2 weeks later have made contact again and told them still no change extremely uncomfortable, but this time they have said it’s been over the 1month return policy and bad luck 🤬🤬!!

Do not trust this company!!!

I would defiantly not recommend…

I would defiantly not recommend purchasing this mask!
I had one for 3 weeks and it stopped working- no power, no lights, wouldn’t charge, DEAD!
Alura replaced the mask,
I receive the 2nd one 4- 5 weeks later after alot of emailing and chasing them up, and the 2nd mask did the same thing!
DEAD, no lights, won’t charge, won’t turn on,
Only this time Alura will not respond to emails, they will not refund even tho I am in my 12 month warranty phase!
I am entitled to a refund,
The customer service is disgusting, it takes 3 weeks for them to respond to an email and unfortunately now they will not respond at all meaning I spent $1000 AUD ON A FACE MASK THAT DOESN’T WORK
DO NOT BUY THIS MASK!
DO NOT GIVE MONEY TO THIS COMPANY!
Worst product, worse service!
TOTAL SCAM!

Purchased this and super excited

Purchased this and super excited, but unfortunately it’s really uncomfortable to wear! A lot of pressure on the ridge of the nose to the point it hurts after about 2 mins. So it really puts you off not wanting to wear it.
Have emailed the company and now waiting to here back!!!
Have only used it a couple of times as it hurts to use.

Legitimate company???? -unsure!

Having read a review for LED devices online (by: school of dermatology), this companies device rated 2nd best globally with impressive strength and led numbers.
Wanting to purchase, I had some questions so contacted via the email address AND the online chat option. I have tried for months now and received ZERO response.
The ignorance makes me wonder if this is a legitimate; •device •company •review from school of dermatology & satisfied ‘customers’.

Furthermore concerned that there are no reviews for this company here or online.
