Very disappointing experience with Alzowar Travel — this was my second Umrah booking with them, and unfortunately, the same issue happened again.

Last year, we were asked for an unexpected extra £200 on the day of travel. This year, while I was at the airport, I was again asked for an additional £100 and told that if I did not pay, my father’s visa and flight arrangements could be cancelled.

At that stage, we had already paid a significant amount and were travelling for Umrah, so this felt like unnecessary pressure at the worst possible time. I checked the arrangements through Nusuk and found that the service being demanded was not mandatory, so I had to arrange my own transport from Jeddah to Makkah.

The money itself is not the main issue — it is the repeated last-minute requests and pressure when customers have little choice.

The agent dealing with us was Warda Chaudhary.

After experiencing this twice, I would not recommend Alzowar Travel. Customers should be given clear, transparent pricing from the beginning, especially when booking such an important journey.

10/10 service from Hamza at Al Zowar Travel! We’ve used Al Zowar twice now, once in January and again in September, and both experiences were absolutely brilliant. Hamza was always so quick to respond and would reply straightaway whenever we needed anything, which made the whole experience completely stress-free.

Everything was organised really efficiently, from our accommodation and arrangements in Makkah and Madinah to all of our transfers. Wouldn’t even give them a 1star at all! They have organised packages and then have sent payment link. Then for the payments to be made they have got agressive and argumentative because deposit was made by credit card which system allowed this. And they over speak you on the phone and don’t listen to customers at all what so ever
Really rude customer service from there end wouldn’t recommend them to anyone at all, and top of that the push you harass you to make the payment

First time of using them and not the best customer service at all and I would never use them at all and do not recommend others to use them either

We had booked this before the war started in the middle east. As there was uncertainty on whether flights would be allowed.Hamza kept us informed with any updates. He also checked on us while we were out there. We would use al zowar again. Would definitely recommend them.
