Do not and I mean do not use this company or Amazon book publishing Central to help publish your books. I paid this company $1,295 to publish two children's books. I signed a contract which states is the client is not satisfied with the publishing process or the finished product they have a 100% money back guarantee. Halfway through my project my project manager stated that I had to pay an additional $500 because I was only contracted to do one book at a five to seven week time frame. This was absolutely false I paid $1,295 to have two books completed within 5 to 7 weeks. Against my better judgment I paid an additional $300 because they were holding my projects hostage until I paid the additional money. I received phone calls from someone claiming to work for the company telling me that the project manager that asked for the additional money was trying to fraud me. And I should contact my bank and file a claim the fraud which is what I did. Throughout this whole project I felt uneasy about the project manager the incompetency they sent me a mock-up of my book manuscript with no punctuation. But I provided them a manuscript with punctuation. I later learned that my project manager in the gentleman that called me were poaching this company's clients to go to another company. Supposedly the project manager I had was terminated and I started working with another project manager. She pressured and pressured and pressured me to contact my bank and have the chargeback Reversed because it is a bad look for the business. They halted all work on both my books for a couple of weeks until I finally gave in and just had the chargeback reversed just so I can get my project finished. There has been problems after problems after problems and with communication with incompetence violating my confidence reality and privacy because they had employees who or clearly doing something wrong with access to my manuscript and personal details about myself. These individuals had my login information for the distributor which in fact has my address phone number Bank information all of that stuff and these individuals had access to it. Once the new project manager got on board it wasn't much better. They finally completed my first book June 22nd 2026. The second book was just completed and published on June 24th 2026. It took them 4 months to complete two children's books which both contain roughly 28 pages each and four of those pages were illustrations. The distributor ingramspark had to go back and forth with them as to how the files should be uploaded for publication. I understand you may have to go back and forth a little bit to get things exactly right however if this is your business and you work with this distributor on a regular basis you should know what measurements and requirements are. This company refuses to take accountability or even acknowledge the wrongdoing of their employees when the new project manager came on board I was told that I would receive marketing for a year at no cost to me. I was also told that if I wanted to publish my third book in this series with them that I would receive a handsome discount due to all of the issues that I've had with this company. When I filed a complaint with the New York State Consumer Protection Agency they completely ignored any wrongdoings they decided they no longer were going to offer me the year of marketing at no cost to me I will have to sign a new contract and pay additionally I asked for half of my money back because her the contract it was not completed in the time frame I was told I was not satisfied with the publishing process whatsoever and when the first book was completed initially there were errors on the back cover that had to be corrected. This has been a nightmare of an experience and again I will stress and emphasize do not do business with this company.
