They scammed me out of 1,000$ for publishing a book and then took 1200$ more for no reason.

• We explained that the final printing price could only be confirmed after formatting is completed, which is also clearly written on the invoice: "Printed Copies (Final price will be provided after book formatting is complete)."
You initially requested 300 printed copies with expedited delivery for an upcoming event, and during the call we provided an estimated production cost for printing and expedited shipping.
However, during the same conversation you explained that you had recently opened a new bank account and had a card limit of around $1,000, which is why a partial payment arrangement was offered to help you begin the project immediately due to your urgent timeline.
You agreed to proceed with:
• $1,000 initial payment to start the project
• Remaining costs to be finalized once formatting determined the final page count
This agreement was made on a recorded call, and the invoice reflecting this arrangement was sent immediately afterward.
Additionally, during the call:
• You sent your manuscript to us by email.
• We began preparing your project for formatting.
• A book cover questionnaire was sent to gather your design ideas.
For transparency:
• We did not charge $2,200 as stated in your review.
