Animated Apparel Avis 

Buyer beware...
I ordered a simple pair of womens sandals. The website claimed they use US sizing....ordered womens size 11 (i'm really a 10 but cheap brands I need 11) The shoes I received were so tiny my entire big toe hangs over the front edge. I'm guessing these are equivalent to a US womans size 8-9 at best.

The materials used were super cheap and stunk with strong 'fumes' that made my eyes water. The soles were stiff and slick....slip and fall risk would be high wearing these sandals.

I tried to return them based on these complaints and was told I'd have to pay the shipping back to china...which of course would exceed the cost of the shoes...they offered a 10% discount for shoes that need to go into the trash.

I am amazed that other people are leaving comments about how great this company and their products are...it makes me wonder if they are really legitimate buyers leaving good reviews when my experience is the polar opposite.

Update: the company offered a 10% refund to my credit card OR I could absorb the freight costs to ship the sandals back to china for a full refund. Obviously the shipping charges would exceed the cost of the sandals.

I refused their offer since the product was misrepresented and I did NOT receive a pair of shoes sized as US woman's 11 the company should not have asked the customer to bear the burden of return shipping

They came back with a second offer of 25% refund to my credit card and I accepted the offer and proceeded to throw the shoes in the trash (the materials they were made of were so poor I didn't even feel they were worthy for a donation bin)

I have no idea why the company is posting a comment stating they did everything they could to find a fair solution but I, the customer refused. That is not true as I just explained what actually transpired.

I've learned a lot here and even though this company did not present to the shopper they were china based, and the product I received had a US return address on it I will be very careful to vett any unfamiliar e-commerce sites to make sure they are US based before ordering anything going forward. These guys obviously use these tactics to pass off product made for pennies as quality footwear then close off the customers avenue of return....it's a big racket.
