Our daughter has been using the musical aptitude app for a few months now, on a daily basis, and we have seen a massive improvement in her abilities across all four categories. This combined with the digital course that Bea and Ash have produced have been key to the excellent progression we have seen in her, over a very short period of time. Highly recommended this as a tool to support those undertaking the MAT!

Why use the app?
A huge thank you to Bea and Ash for producing this app to really help with the music apptitude test. The app is well designed, easy to use and can really help prepare in each of the 4 sections of the music test. Its also great to play as a game with the kids. I found my daughters violin playing improved after using the app too. This app is a must for all those wanting to learn music as well as helping with the music test prep.

Ashbea’s Music Aptitude Maestros App has been absolutely incredible! My daughter had no idea what to expect from the Music Aptitude Test, and this app was her only source of guidance and preparation.
The lessons and practice tests were so well designed, clear, realistic, and easy to follow. She used the app fully and got the maximum benefit from it. Thanks to Ashbea’s support, she passed all the Music Aptitude Tests she participated in!

Would highly recommend this app. This really helped my daughter prepare for her MAT tests. It was so easy to use and as a web-based app it was easy to log into via different devices. The past scores is a great function to look back through and monitor progress. Great value for money!

This app got my daughter through her 11+ music aptitude test
Having the music aptitude tests on an app is a really easy way to get your child to practice and develop their skills. Without using this app regularly I do not think my daughter would have got such a great score in her consortium test. Thank you Ashbea's Music Aptitude Maestros App!!

Bea was super helpful from the beginning of the process. The online lessons were well structured and the children were given lots of praise and encouragement. My daughter passed her first round music exam with flying colours. I highly recommend!

The app was my son's daily companion leading up to the exam. With significant focus and consistent practice, he successfully passed stage 1 of the South Herts Consortium. He mentioned that the tests were more challenging than the actual exam, which ultimately helped him perform well. I’m incredibly proud of him! Excellent app and gateway to wider MAT resources
We came across Ashbea's Music Maestro app after finding their tutorials on YouTube. We did the free trial and found the app to be easy to use, well structured and ideal for 11+ music aptitude tests. Following the free trial we have continued with a monthly subscription as well as using some of the other resources and lessons offered by Ashbea. I really love Bea's positivity and holistic approach to music and music theory. Her passion shines through her classes. We have successfully completed two MAT tests for secondary school entry 2026. Without Ashbea and the Music Maestro app, we would certainly not have been so well prepared. I would highly recommend the app and lessons with Ashbea.

Great app for Musical Aptitude Test
This is a great app for helping your child prepare for a musical aptitude test. As far as I can tell, it’s also the only app of its kind—I couldn’t find any others. I have twins who currently use it, and they have improved significantly since they started. They are preparing for the Dame Alice and Ashmole tests. The app allows them to practice anytime and anywhere, even while traveling; they can easily continue practicing in the car with their headphones on. The questions don’t repeat, and there’s a wide variety of types, helping children get used to different possible question formats. Thanks to the team behind this app—it’s clear they’ve put a lot of effort into it.

Music Aptitude Maestros…
We have been using the app since was developed. My daughter found it very engaging and was using it regularly until her 11+ exam. The app helps her to improve her knowledge about each section individually. The tutorials on YouTube also give her an understanding of the structure of the exam.
She got a good score on her exam and waiting to be offered her first-choice school.
I recommend the app to parents who looking for an exam preparation.
