Disappointed in several things:

Disappointed in several things:
I was told I could cancel at any time. No, I'm stuck in a year contract. I was charged the day I signed up and a technician came to treat my yard that day. I wasn't able to get out of my contract with my company because they needed a month's notice. So two treatments and two services in one month.
Upon my yard being treated I received pictures of my neighbors house being treated. I called and reported that.
After my place was treated , I asked the technician if the dirt bank was treated with granuals which penetrated 3 inches deep. That was my selling point! They had to schedule another time to come out to spread the granuals.

I've had two different technicians the past two months; both did a great job. I would prefer one technician each time.

Will see how this year goes. I hope I didn’t make a mistake by changing from company that we have had since 1995!

Good pest control service

Since becoming an Aptive client, I have had no pest infestations of any kind. Furthermore, their technicians have consistently been punctual, and personally pleasant.

Tim completely turned around my…

Tim completely turned around my experience with Aptive during a recent re-treatment visit. After my initial service on 27May2026, I still had concerns about ant activity and noticed that the eaves and spider webs around my home had not been thoroughly cleaned, nor ant baits was add to the correct location when the infestation occured.

Tim took the time to carefully inspect the situation, patiently explain the ant activity I was seeing, and walk me through the treatment plan. He was knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely cared about addressing my concerns rather than rushing through the appointment.

What impressed me most was his attention to detail. He thoroughly cleaned the eaves and removed spider webs that should have been addressed during the previous service 4 days ago. He took pride in his work and made sure everything was completed properly before leaving.

Customer service and workmanship make a huge difference, and Tim delivered both. He transformed what had been a disappointing experience into a positive one and restored my confidence in Aptive's service. Thank you, Tim, for your professionalism, patience, and dedication to doing the job right.

Techs always seem to do a thorough job…

Techs always seem to do a thorough job of apply the necessary chemicals and we have only had ants in the house once over all of the time we have used Aptive.

I met Kevin and this apprentice, TJ yesterday. Kevin was professional, knowledgeable, courteous and on time. After he finished the job, he sent me a detailed description and photos of the work he performed. He did a great job!
I was very happy with Kevin and the work that he did for us.

Person showed up late in the day

Person showed up late in the day. No prior notification, no one had been to the house to spray or check in over 9 months and the person was done in about 10-15 minutes and we still have an 🐜 ant issue.

A stellar performance by your technician!!!

The woman who was the technician on this particular visit was knowledgeable, professional, and personable. I was in the yard during her application of the chemicals and was very impressed with how thorough she was. Once finished with the chemical application she then swept for spider webs. I noted that; although all technicians did this, she was a lot more thorough than any of the others. During the application of chemicals; since I was present, she explained why she was spraying were she was spraying. I truly appreciated this aspect.
I was so impressed with her approach that I would like to request her for all the future visits by Aptive Pest Control.
