Unforgettable New Zealand!
My New Zealand tour was absolutely unforgettable. Everything was so well organised from start to finish. Our tour director and driver were exceptional - knowledgeable, friendly and truly went above and beyond to make the experience special. I would highly recommend this tour to really capture everything New Zealand has to offer and to see both islands.

Our group of 8 friends have had a great…
Our group of 8 friends have had a great time on the Lady Eleganza yacht sailing Dubrovnik to Split. We all done this cruise last year and have done 2 other river cruises together since.The crew on board are brilliant , cabins kept spotless by Angela, Lazarus and Stephen kept our drinks replenished. Our captain Neno moored up in the centre of towns as he did last year.
Raphella our cruise director was brilliant as was Marayana last year giving talks on what was the next port of call, always smiling and very knowledgeable. I wouldn’t say the food was 5* as it was on the river cruises , the buffet lunches were better than the evening meal but obviously kitchen space was at a minimum and the chefs done their best. The crew were pleased to see us return and called us the happy eight.
The swim stops were great ( too cold for me this time) but lots of laughter with the other guests even those travelling alone were part of the one big happy bunch of guests.
Raphella was amazed at us group meeting up on yet another cruise together and loved our story. I’d contacted Marayanna to ask if she was the cruise director on this trip but she wasn’t, it was a lovely surprise when she came on board in Dubrovnik to see us all and told Raphella our amazing story sailing with APT and now friends for life

☆☆☆☆☆ from start to finish.
Firstly a huge thank you to Jon who handled our booking, he was genuinely the start of what has been the most wonderful holiday! He promised me that the holiday would be perfect, and it was. Magnificent Europe it was! Every day was a new place to explore with fantastic guides and tours. Our cruise director Hedleigh was a joy, knowledgeable with a twinkle would best describe him, we always knew what was happening, when and where. We had to change ship due to low river levels but again a smooth trouble free transition. And attention to detail superb, my preferred pillow choice was there waiting for me in the cabin on the new ship. Everyone and I mean everyone, everything we did, everywhere we visited, everything we ate and drank, was absolutely wonderful. This was our first holiday with APT, it will not be our last.

Excellent Holiday, but!
The itinerary was interesting and varied. Hotel we stayed in at the start of the holiday was excellent. The cruise ship was comfortable and the staff service was faultless. Nothing was too much trouble. I was a little disappointed with the boat itself. I did not think it was comprable with the APT vessel I sailed on last year from Amsterdam to Budapest. I know for geographical and practical reasons, e.g. the size of the locks etc. that the vessel has to be smaller but I don't think the feeling of luxury has been achieved. The lounge area from some strange reason had been designed with two smallish areas which gave it a disjointed feel especially for the evening entertainment. The way the food was served at meal times did not have the same opulent feel, nor the same magnificent buffet selection at all meals as on the previous boat. The main service area that was used for serving meals once they were brought up from the kitchen had a very cafeteria feel about it. Not the staffs fault more a design fault of that area. Had it been a budget cruise it would have been fine but for a high end cruise felt it fell short ot the mark.
Towels for the pool were not readily available, yes I was given one when I asked but none were out on display and I feel I shouldn't have had to ask. Also the towels provided were just the larger white towels as used in the cabins. I had expected larger coloured beach type towels, another disappointment. I know, a minor issue but not when one has paid for a 5 star high end experience. Some of the places where we moored overnight were quite disappointing, not good for walking and in Porto, a very long walk to the road which some passengers found quite challenging. That said it could be due things outside your control?
Our hotel in Lisbon, the Iberia, Ibostar Hotel did not live up to my expectations from a 5 star hotel. The list of shortcomings was endless and I would not as a company choose this hotel for guests in future.

a wonderful and memorable holiday
we have just returned from an amazing mekong river cruise with apt tours and it was fantastic. it started in siem reap cambodia at a top end hotel, then on the ama lotus river boat along the mekong river, ending in ho chi minh city again in a top hotel. the river boat was great, the staff were so nice and the food was fantastic. our apt tour guide 'mr long' was superb. weve both travelled all over the world but never to cambodia and the country far exceeded my expectations. the cambodian people are so nice and its a very interesting country to visit. the whole trip from start to finish was amazing and its one of the top holidays ive ever done.i recommend this trip and apt tours/travel marvel. you wont be disappointed. we did add an extra day on at the beginning and am glad we did. my only regret was we should have added a couple of nights on at ho chi minh city.

A truly memorable and magical holiday
APT made our 15 day trip to India truly amazing. The itinerary they prepared was very well thought out and organised. I can't praise the staff throughout enough. They were friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to help us particularly when we had a flight cancellation meaning we missed a connection. The care and concern they showed throughout our holiday was exceptional. As an older couple on our own we felt well cared for and safe.
We had a brilliant driver from start to finish who was extremely attentive to our needs. All the guides were knowledgeable and helpful. A truly memorable experience.

A fantastic birthday present
The whole cruise down the Danube was very interesting and nearly as good as the Budapest to Amsterdam cruise that we did last year. It was my wife's birthday present and she thoroughly enjoyed it. The Cruise Director was exceptional.

Outstanding river cruise
Travel was seamless, service was superb from the first pick-up to our arrival home. The boats were luxurious with well-proportioned cabins and comfortable bed. The food and beverages were excellent and restaurant service was exceptional. All of the visits were well-tailored to the guests and the guides were superb. The cruise director was friendly, efficient, hard-working and quick to overcome any issues e.g. the change of boats due to the low water levels. The entertainers were professional but very warm. We received superb service from every department on both boats. One of the best holidays yet!
