Arlo har ingen support. Om du undrar något så går det inte att kontakta Arlo och fråga innan köp. Jag har haft Arlo länge och deras viktiga Geofencing fungerar inte och du har ingen du kan ringa och fråga. Prova att gå in på deras sida då får du se hur dåligt det är. Det enda som går är att köpa saker men i övrigt får du ingen hjälp. De vill ha betalt men har ingen kundtjänst värd namnet.

Such disastrous support and the constant failures. Wishing I could turn them back

I first contacted the support two weeks ago. Beware of this disastrous support and security failure when you buy an Arlo product. It feels like a total scam company, considering the online issues (as others have mentioned, they go offline now and then, no matter how well you place them and your internet speed, which is what they like to blaim).

I had a support issue with a camera not working, and I pay extra each month for the cvr. 14 days of paying for a product I can't use and need. They now tell me they are still looking into it.
I asked after two weeks what happened with my issue, and the automatic reply was "your case is closed". After lots of going back and forth in the chat with the support, I got an email that it is open and always was. I find that hard to believe and want that looked into.

They claim to have communicated in an email to customers in general that there were security issues with some cameras. I ask after going back and forth so many times: I did not receive an email. From which address did you send it? Finally, after I've asked a couple of times, the support says that she will ask them, so send it to me. citat ur chatten after I have communicated several times about the issue:

Jag skulle egentligen vilja bifoga den 1.5 h långa chatten jag satt i. Jag har också tagit bilder av chatten hur den ser ut vid ett tillfälle, och vid påpekande av fel, på ett annat sätt, då säger man sig ha svarat och vips så finns det i chatten.

Den här 1.5 timmen jag satt i chatten är nog den sjukaste kundupplevelsen jag haft på länge. Och det här ska ha med säkerhet att göra, det känns så oseriöst och obehagligt. Under tiden jag sitter där går en annan av mina kameror offline. Den har nu helt försvunnit från Arlo "hem", och supporten säger att jag ska starta om och koppla till hubben igen, så ska det nog funka. Helt surrealistiskt hur dåligt det kan vara systemet. Så nu ska jag sätta mig en timme med att ominstallera enheter.

What's happening with this camera?

The "funny" thing is, after I had mentioned that this camera didn't show recordings, it went missing from my hub.
There is so much more to say about this, how confusing it is with the case numbers and that it doesn't show your chat history, what I wrote in the previous chats. And they don't have a clue, a bunch of cases, since each time they are contacted and you don't have time to reply, it's a new case.

The urging of the chat support all the time when not receiving a reply in one minute is so annoying. But they can be taking a long time to reply. You always fear they will shut down the chat because you had to go to the bathroom and didn't tell them.
But I guess I will as the support told me when i repeated i want the supervisors to see this:
Your case will be handled rest assured.

Security Floodlight gives me the full view

Wired floodlight is able to light up my back garden and with the camera I can always see whats happening.

Missing the simplest functionalities

Im fine that it cant tell cats or deers from humans. But the fact that there is no ”turn off for 30 min” - function is such a shame. Constantly having to turn off when the kids run around to then remember to turn on. Every time. Same when there are animals in the garden, need to turn of to not be bombarded with notifications.

I week has gone by without a word from…

I week has gone by without a word from Arlo about my cameras. As I have written before, I bought 5 Arlo Pro6 cameras in March, paid for them and the cloud service but I have still not got the cameras. The only way to get in some form of contact with them is to write a review here.. Their AI-chat is worthless and their in no possible way to get in touch with a human working there. So so bad!

Batteriet håller inte vad de har lovat och tappar kopplingen hela tiden. Kamerorna detekterar rörelser utanför aktivitetszonen och skickar aviseringar oavbrutet, vilket är mycket irriterande. Jag rekommenderar dem inte alls.

Har köpt fyra stycken Arlo essential kameror. Batteritiden är supersämst.
Även med lampa avstängd extra lowmode. I standby när vi är hemma och aktiverar dom för natten så är batteritiden superkass. Var 14 e dag måste dom laddas. Rekommenderar att ni kollar vidare om ni ska köpa dessa.
