Army and Outdoors Avis

I have made a few orders through army and outdoors great customer service and products

When an error was found with my order due to innacurate stock count, you guy's were quick to help email and fix it.

Didn't have one item I had ordered due to their system not updating, but offered an alternative solution, which was fantastic.
Thank you

Please don't buy anything here. The website mentions an easy return policy but all the products are very dirty, damaged and the service is very unfriendly and won't return the products. The description on the website is not accurate at all. The products come in a condition where they cannot be used anymore. Also some of The so-called Army products are not authentic at all. The seller thinks that that's honest. Obviously the disagree with that. I wish I could upload the photos of the products here. The smell that came out of the package was unbelievable. Please stay away from this shop.

The fast response to my question from Army & Outdoors is most appreciated. In a 2026 business environment where ghosting is acceptable. It’s good to know some quarters of business still value common courtesy and quality customer service.

Thank you

Chemical waste bag:
The army rucksack had an unbearable strong camfor-petroleum smell. Seven days in the sun, vinegar bath (12 hours), hand wash and baking soda treatment did not remove the smell. I think this rucksack is not fit for purpose. My records show I bought an Army Grey Gore-Tex Jacket for 119 NZD 5 years ago. The zipper was worn at the start. Unfortunatly I forgot it was from Army and Outdoors, so was burned a second time with the rucksack. I left a review on their website but they didn’t publish it. Learned my lesson.....

bought British army jersey, arrived in good time and is good as new, been wearing it since it arrived and its exactly what I wanted.

When my order came open and two things were missing, they were very helpful.

Good quality products, fast delivery and great communication.

Jase and his team over at Army and Outdoors are absolute legends.
Gear is always as described.
I've brought various old service packs in different sizes from different countries, gaiters, old German mess kits, UK and NZ UBACS, field shirts and trousers from USA (Marines, Army) NZ, GERMANY and a few others. I'm ex Aussie infantry and love hunting and put the gear to the test. It's half the price of hunting brands and better quality.
Lol, I bloody love this shop!
5 stars on a bad day. G to G

The stuff I ordered was the wrong size as I wasn't how their sizes worked. They offered return

Fast operation and delivery time, and good customer services. Really good selection of military surplus for all purposes (casual, formal, field).

The customer service team were a treat to deal with. My query/ problem was dealt with quickly and efficiently

I had to return some pants and got an immediate response from them with instructions. As it turns out, a family member likes them, and they do fit, so I'll just order another pair. Thank you. Great cargo pants.

There was a on site mistake where the gear was sold out, these kind folks reached out, told me i could choose something equal to what i purchased including 10 to 15% more of said cost. Very kind people the questions i had were answered they were polite and quick to respond i got something new added to my order i was overjoyed by the experience. I would shop with them again.

Kyle was very accommodating in making last-minute changes to my delivery. Great comms and very helpful. Looking forward to receiving purchase.
