Avoid this company at all costs

Avoid this company at all costs. We have a number of mobile phones on contracts via Aro, having been passed to them post Pescado being bought out. Had some ridiculous system of our company horribly overpaying for contracts and claiming a "booster" payment back. Are now refusing to make the booster payment and have pocketed our cash,

Awful customer service…

Awful customer service when reporting site-wide outages that were ongoing for a week, poor response to problems - Sometimes completely ignored. The only time they are interested in speaking to you is if they are trying to sell you something.

Shocking Timescales

1 month and counting to review overpaid bills - cannot speak to anyone, callbacks promised and never received - shocking service. If it takes this long for a callback, I doubt I'll be seeing any money this year.

Avoid this corporate monster

The price increases where a lot more than RPI and they do not offer a high level of service. One thing I forgot to mention was their stupid support system. Rather than ringing up like we used to, you had to log a ticket on their BOLT system which was a nightmare. Despite the response below, my recommendation is to still AVOID ARO at all Costs!

Since ARO took over Pescado the company went down the drain. The family business who Pescado was, was turned into a Corporate Monster who just ripped off small companies, constantly increasing prices but putting it in small print on the bottom of the previous months invoice. I used Pescado for over 10 years and have now moved to a company called Communicate Telecoms who share the same values as the original Pescaco.

I'd avoid this company at all costs.

Simon Smith though was always good to us, despite the challenges he faced.

Firewalls left unpatched and therefore exposed

We are currently in the process of migrating away from Aro Tech. With this company you are just a number, the staff are friendly and helpful, but the support system is impersonal and long winded.

The worst of it is that we were paying for managed firewall, network and server management services, and they left our Firewall unpatched for over 2 years. And probably longer had we not moved to a new provider. This is totally unacceptable and, I would not trust them with critical infrastructure.

I have worked with Simon Smith our Account Manager @ ARO

I have worked with Simon Smith our account manager for several years now. We started with just a mobile phone contract and have grown to now have not only our mobiles but also our office phones and leased line with ARO. During this time I can only speak highly of the service and advice that Simon has given to us and I can't recommend him and ARO highly enough

Happy to Recommend

We have several products via Aro including a phone system, leased lines and mobile phones. We have always found their service to be excellent.

Simon Smith has been our account manager for several years - he always picks up the phone and is friendly and helpful. Whenever any issues arise the problem is taken off my desk and returned with a solution. Honestly cannot fault.

Excellent service

I have worked with Peter Cliff our account manager at ARO for some years now. We have our mobile contract through them an have recently gone with them for our landlines. Peter is brilliant, he takes the time to understand your business and to find the best solution for your needs. His aftersales skills are excellent, he stays beside you until you are happy with the product. I would highly recommend this organisation for your telephony needs.

I have nothing but positive feedback…

I have nothing but positive feedback for ARO and the team. My account manager Simon Smith is attentive to our business needs. Any presumed problems are managed swiftly and efficiently.
We run both Landlines and Mobile's through ARO, the landline system works great and helps manages the business calls from clients. On the mobile front we are always pro-actively looking for the best deal! with phones and package. Simon helps supports me through this ever changing landscape. Thanks again.

Outstanding Service

I have worked with this company for over 5 years, every aspect of the experience is outstanding. They offer a very personal experience, that teamed with a fantastic account manager makes all of our needs including phones, mobiles I.T. and connectivity run so smoothly, removing the stress out of tech.
